RAK Arts Festival Weekend Film Screening 2024

On February 9, 2024, the documentary “Voices from the Shores of Time,” produced by our Mass Communication students, was screened at the RAK Arts Festival. This significant event took place at the Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village and marked the first time our students’ work was showcased at the festival.
The film, created as part of the students’ final capstone project, involved collaboration with the Department of Antiquities and Museums and featured interviews and footage from the heritage site. T
he screening was attended by AURAK’s leadership, including the President, Provost, Dean, and Chairperson, as well as director of the Al Qasimi Foundation and various government departments. This event highlighted our program’s connection to the local community and underscored our commitment to producing impactful, nonfiction narratives.
