In HQ, the opening credits from each season of "Fame." Some seasons had slight tweaks throughout a season, in which case I have selected one to represent that year.
At 3:58, I am in the crowd watching them jump into the fountain. I remember how long it took to shoot what ended up to be a very short clip (it made it into the opening titles but was actually part of an episode as a longer outdoor dance sequence).
The last two theme introductions were totally and utterly SHIT!! Should have left it well enough alone, no wonder it was cancelled. I bet it was down to the different theme music
Agreed. Even the third iteration lost cadence with all the cast bloat. How they could think the re-shoot of the iconic line was better escapes me. It is lame compared to the gritty reality of the original.

Lori Singer, Cynthia Gibb and Nia Peeples were in the dreams of young males everywhere in the 80s
Janet was pretty cute in the 80s as well. Loved watching her career grow.
Debbie Allen too❤
And the magnificent Erica Gimpel.

The theme changed because of the years
Agreed. The change did kill the feel !
What're you talking about. Her giving the fame speech in the opening credits is the only thing I remember about the show. So awesome!

Loretta Chandler was awful singing the opening theme. She couldn't hold a billion candles to Erica Gimpel.
