A rocketfire movie please answer me PS I didn't really ask for permission so hopefully you approve of the rockfire movie Amore is so far in production I'm almost done
I never fail to be amazed by the amount of subtlety in movements that can be brought out be a sympathetic programmer. I think you hit it right on the head with the Chuck E. Cheese comparison.
A real shame replay was cancelled. Would've been nice if both sides could've come to an agreement. I'm hoping the simulator will eventually go ahead, I was one of few who backed the kickstarter at the time
The official simulator idea doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I am writing an over-all animatronic simulation program though, not focusing on CEC or Rockafire specifically so I can't get sued. Still in the prototyping stages but we're thinking of getting deals with smaller bot restaurants
I'm totally up for a simulator! I think it would be a supreme way to help other people expand their RAE creativity. It would honestly be something that I would spend hours on XD
Old operator that has a question: I ran/repaired the Lynbrook, NY Rockafire back in 1996 (16). I heard a few say someone presently owns this show. Just curious to see if it is with a new owner and safe. My heart would be so happy if this is true. Also, would love to see video of it, if possible. Have some folks who are locals, equally curious. Thank you, Arron, appreciate this lesson. The new mechanics are quite interesting! (Edit) I still am a fan of that silver old console. That beast was impressive. lol -> Yet, the new direct operations of each movement of the characters, is quite an upgrade. Would love to see more of this!
Really enjoyed the video. It’s quite interesting to see your approach to programming and just how much of a difference it can make. I have a few ideas for topics I’d love to see covered in the future: Tips for natural head tilts, especially on Fatz. (With him being a keyboard player I think it’s pretty important to get the head groove just right on him. I know Replay never got around to implementing Fatz though so it’d probably be better to show Billy Bob, but I’m still curious.) Lively idle movements. As in tips to make characters still feel alive when they’re looking at somebody else talking/singing for long periods, without seeming too repetitive, almost dead, or too over the top. (CEC tends to be pretty bad at this in my opinion.) Programming songs with different tempos. i. e. Ideas for what to do in a slow song vs a fast one. Light programming and any limitations that may need to be brought into account due to children usually being more sensitive to them. (Though, I suppose maybe it wasn’t considered as much of a concern back in the day.)
Hi there Aaron! I recently got the Billy Bob Budsies doll and I have to say it's one of the best purchases I've ever made, especially as a huge fan of the Rock-afire. I absolutely love watching your videos. Keep up the good work!
A simulation would be awesome! Maybe with 2nd generation options, or different stage options maybe customizing a stage or different costumes, just throwing out ideas.
@@cheekibreeki4624 i bet so you would need some drum knowledge to operate 2nd gen dook. Aaron said he was wanting duke to do a drum roll. Most importantly. As a musician i have messed around not really a drummer but a drummer showed me how to use drums. And for. Drum roll the sticks have to be loose and then go into a song with a tight grip. If aaron can make 2nd generation duke play drums accurately it make him the godfather of animatronic drumming.
Very nice! I wish you had added the eyes open and closed programming. I noticed during the programming that the eyelids were out of sync so I'd have loved to watch the programming of that being fixed.
Hello Aaron, good night, I would like to ask you of course if you can know what program is used to program the movements of the animatronics of Rock Afire, it is that I am passionate about this world of animatronics and I am just starting and I know what programs they deal with and seeing what you are doing as tutorials I would like to learn more I hope you can answer, thank you.
Hello Aaron, I don't know anything about programming, but I am curious about one thing. Is there a reason why you leave Mitzi's mouth open until the end of the -lene syllable (in Jolene) instead making it close a little sooner so her jaw touches her upper teeth on the "n" sound; sort of to emulate the tongue touching the teeth when we make "n" sounds? The first two Jolenes would basically look like the third Jolene you programmed. I hope this makes sense.
@@therockafire So strange. You would think that anyone that was offered a chance to work with you would grab hold of it with tightly clenched fists and hold on for dear life instead of turning you down. I know I'd love a chance to work with and learn from you Aaron. You're a legend!
I would love to start another channel to make shows I have always loved watching the rock afire ever since I was little but were I’m from Kentucky the only show I know that is close is in Barboursville anyway I hope the rock afire explosion lives on forever
Hi Aaron, is it okay if I email you my rock-afire replay show? I have mitzi,Billy Bob, and Rolfe&Earl separately recorded because i would like you to critique me on my programming for all 3 of them if you get the chance,if I can talk to you about them that would be great! I followed this tutorial and understand a bit more better on how to program mitzi, though the show i did was prgrammed way before I watched this video and the song that they are singing was just fully released a whole week ago, they are singing a snippet of the song "Mother"by Meghan Trainor(the snippet has no cuss words in it and I don't plan on doing the full song).
Hi Aaron I know you're not going to see this most likely but I was just wondering if I could program some of the beta rock-afire explosion audio in my version of replay I will not do videos swearing I will follow all of your guidelines sincerely_ Ethan
Aaron please tell 64th gamer he can continue with rock afire replay because the show didn’t get to be completely finalized leaving it(especially looney bird)glitchy
I've invited him numerous times to work with me on this. His decision was that he would rather not do it at all than to "have to work with Aaron Fechter". So, don't worry about it. I have a feeling you will like the new Rock-afire Simulator Ryan will design much more anyway.

I love how informative Aaron is about this tutorial 👍👍👍👍👍
Pac Hii buddy
Hi pac love your content👍
Glad to finally see proof you don't hate Replay. I'm also pretty excited to see the official simulator if it ever gets off the ground.

I would like to program a song(that Aaron approves of) and see him critique it. I personally think I could do a good job but I love advice.
That doorbell system is super cool!
Great tutorial Aaron! I'll be taking this knowledge into consideration when programming my next show!
Oh hi
Great video Aaron!
Aaron great video you Inspired me to have my dream job as a engineer and one day have my own band
Also I have been a fan for 4 years thank you for being a inspiring person
Great video Aaron, cool to see you programming
I'm quite tempted to try make a doorbell switch set up of my own for programming my own Replay shows

I knew a guy who had modelled a really acurate 2nd gen Dook and trying to use it in a program such as RR would kill your PC, and your hands

They aren’t out of sync, they are like that to add more personality and expression Mitzi does that a lot
I just got Rock Afire Replay last week I think, and I still have yet to play it. Also, I'm making a mijin of Role and Earl.
It’s awesome to see another rockafire video!! This video was very interesting!!!
So with permission , custom fan shows are technically allowed?
Hi Arron I now your busy but please 🥺 post more I love your video so I got sad when you did not post #more programming rocks fire video

I thought Replay shut down?? Is it still around?
The page is taken down but some people still have the file
I wasn't expecting to hear the name of Stone Ocean's protagonist so many times in this video.
I thought Arron basically gave Rockafire Replay a cease and desist order.
No. I invited the author of the game to work with me on it and he ran for the hills.
