The more I watch your video, the more I feel your 'well-being' and kindness to yourselves and everyone else. Lay, you are beautiful in all of you, meaning...everything about you as well as Tom. Thank you both for being you. Your mom and dad are also beautiful in their way...of course producing a wonderful child. Why, Lay, is this the first time that you have eaten there? I am a hugger and every time I don't see you folks (mom, dad, daughter and all) not hugging I feel weakened, if you know what I mean but I am not complaining...it is your life and I know that you all love each other.
Really enjoyed this video guys 👍. I'm married to a thai girl. We're living in Ireland but i love holidays back where she grew up Thailand 🇹🇭 🇮🇪🇵🇭. Roll on 10k subs 👍
I appreciate your vlogs in Manila. I used to live there 24 years ago before I migrated to 🇺🇸 and have not been back since. Your videos make me feel nostalgic but at the same time amazed to see some changes (except traffic situation has not really changed since I left in 2000) I don’t mind seeing you eat in carinderias and try street food locals eat. It’s authentic and “adventurous”. It’s interesting to see how a foreigner “experiences “ and appreciates Filipino dishes….I think you and Lay click because she is willing to travel and explore as much as you do. More power to Tom&Lay vlogs.
Guys, thank you so much for the intro to the local community. I am always so drawn to these areas rather than places like BGC or Makati. There just seems to be so much more life there.
I love this type of area in the Philippines...I don't like the word..Slum but I like the back alley of the Philippines there is some really good people and its not all bad
Hi Tom & Lay thanks so much for the fantastic videos from Ireland to Philippines you both have a fantastic way with each other and its also fantastic to look back at when you meet Lay and how quiet and sort of reserved and to how a beautiful young woman with natural appeal. It will be great to see Lays response to Thailand soon,Take good care guys and best wishes for the future,😀🙏
Nice comments to read, when you see & feel spreading love for this two beautiful souls, rather than judgements. Take good care of each others you two 👤❤️👤
Soo nice to visit Lays old neighbourhood. Eating out in the local areas. Supporting the community by eating out. That's what Liza n I do on Camotes Island. Supporting the community by eating out in their establishments . We sell Siomai in our Tugas restaurant. I also add Bagoong spicy paste to my Siomai as I love the spiciness. ❤❤❤
Tom walks in to Lay's Moms place and I am watching thinking watch your head Tom. Then as he is eating after doing the math for a couple weeks said it is 30 degrees out and they still eat hot soup. I started laughing and thinking pst Tom it can be 100 and I still drink hot coffee. As a child not long ago just a couple years ago. My family would eat cold foods on really hot days and eat hot meals at night I love that Lay's family work together as a team.
@Tom & Lay. Loved this vlog guys, coz it's showing the natural life of the Philippines and along the streets were there's alot of street vendors and cheap food to eat. Haven't tried them we orange eggs yet haha.. Thanks for sharing guys.
That was a nice experience Tom&Lay😊 The young boys seems so happy to see Tom😊 And congratulations to both of you🥂 your subscribers are actually creeping up!🤗 hooray!🎉
Hi Tom and Lay .. with Lay beautiful fingers and fingernail polish deserve a beautiful sparkiling engagement ring .. Tom this is a gift from God .. Protect Lay always ❤
Excellent video, as everyone arrives at the airport, make sure to stop by Aringo’s for a healthy meal before heading off to your final destination. Maybe you will be lucky and you can actually sit at the same table Tom & Lay sat at.
good on ya Tom for taking the leap into the Philippines. It's not for everybody, but glad to see you've made it through. You found a very sweet person in Lay.
A great tour of a nice and lively area. Seems clean too. The man selling the saomai kept peeping over the counter as if worried that Lay would use all of the seasonings 😅 Lay's parents have a lovely carinderia with good looking food.
Hi Tom & beautiful Lay, awesome video. There Tom nice carendirea the food looks delicious So now you know where to eat, no more food problems (hehehe) Fun day in Lay’s childhood neighborhood. Keep up the positive videos. May God bless you both. From USA
Hey Tom & Lay, I couldn’t help but to notice that the last 13secs of the video was a Karaoke version of the “zombie” by the Irish band The Cranberries!!! I loved them and was fortunate enough to see them when they came to the states back in the late 80’s. Thank you! Encore video ? Just saying 😊
Fabulous video Tom and Lay keep them coming, my other half just applied for Irish citizenship after living in Ireland for 25 years, haha she eventually gave in and admits Ireland is better 😂😂
15:59 BRUH🤣🤣🤣 I had someone tell me Qwek Qwek was called pekpek. So the poor lady serving the Qwek Qwek almost died laughing when I asked for two orders of pekpek🤣
Lay could set up a live cam at her parents' resto just like Maria does at her store in Davao City which is very successful with live chat and lots of monetary support.
Hello tom always watching your vlog hr 🇯🇵usually I don’t make comments just watch your vlog.sorry to tell you that I don’t really like the title of your vlog lay is your girlfriend right?not only Filipina girl, just show a respect to her❤I am watching your vlogs because of her humble and really simple, take care both of u and god bless
Seems they both foodies so if Tom would be more relegated to the Philippines, he could focus more on a food vlog……also I see lays moms food place seems to be doing ok! They could do a set of vlogs in they day of the life of an eatery owner 1
Great vlog - two thumbs up - best life in Manila video I've seen all year! Ok, ok, I am biased - this is the sort of content I am personally interested in seeing more of.... :) No extremes of skyscrapers vs. slums, rich vs. poor. Cost of living question: Is it possible for a foreigner to find apartment/room rentals in these types of neighborhoods? If so, what would you guess it would cost per month? Thanks for the tour!
It looks like hes an ilocano kid..base on his behaviour....i. am not against the other kids but they seems like streetkids by their behaviour..but it s fun and the two seems enjoying it as well...
Hello Tom , we filipino if we think the budget for foods esp. for an ordinary people in terms of living lifestyle we prefer to eat in carenderia as long as we appreciate everything is ok, coz when it comes to big restaurant its to expensive but same quality its ok to eat at carenderia👍☺️
Lay...nice family business 💙🇵🇭 and cheap! Hard working Nanay n Tatay. Never had kwek2, I try not to eat fried foods in the 🇵🇭 except for turon and banana cue. Gulaman is made from seaweed. Santolan is one of the LRT’s station going to Pasig, right? How many siblings do you have Lay?
Tom, do you know what is a nice place is by the University of Philippines it has a nice Vibe to it. No matter what country i go to i love the College section of the city because its so universal
So Lays parents had this business when they lived here, she should show the house she grew up in. I take it they made enough money from the food business, to buy or rent the house she has lived in she was 20. Lay has a business degree? Cheap food for two, we have seen dad where is mum? Those boys were excited to be on a vlog, but didn't have a phone, if they remember Roaming Hogan and get to look online somewhere they won't see themselves!
Ow.. your family has carendirea in pasig..nice to know... but it would be better if you sell also authentic kakanin like tupig and some other specialties like ilocano foods cause i know that in manila ilocanos are all around...just suggesting..
Hi guys, You make me laugh Tom you are always talking about the food quality in the Philippines compared to Thailand and Malaysia etc., but when I watch you eat you have the table manners of Attila the Hun. The way you shove food in your mouth and swallow without chewing and the amount you have on your fork or spoon at a time would feed a Crocodile hahaha!!!
Well Tom you said you wanted more Filipino style and more going on, and you got that today 😊 Were those portions bigger because Lay is family?? Very generous otherwise. Oh no Lay, please no maths on the videos 😅 155 plus 30 is (drumbeat) 180 😂😂😂 60 euros is about 3800php
I bet it felt like Beatle Mania with all the kids surrounding you 🤣 no autographs today 😂 the Zombie song by the Irish band The Cranberries is definitely the top 3 most popular karaoke song in the Philippines ☘️
Hello Lay, may i know how many siblings u are in the family ,i noticed ur girl sister has a same face from ur sister in ireland and here in manila is that right😍
The more I watch your video, the more I feel your 'well-being' and kindness to yourselves and everyone else. Lay, you are beautiful in all of you, meaning...everything about you as well as Tom. She's a keeper Tom. Hang onto her....
Tight with both hands
Really enjoyed this video guys 👍. I'm married to a thai girl. We're living in Ireland but i love holidays back where she grew up Thailand 🇹🇭 🇮🇪🇵🇭. Roll on 10k subs 👍

There you go Tom, the local food you were looking for; that’s a good business lay’s mom. I like it too especially the vegetable and adobo
Guys, thank you so much for the intro to the local community. I am always so drawn to these areas rather than places like BGC or Makati. There just seems to be so much more life there.
Great to see Lays neighborhood and nice to see her parent’s business ❤❤
I love this type of area in the Philippines...I don't like the word..Slum but I like the back alley of the Philippines there is some really good people and its not all bad
Hello again Tom and Lay, thank you for sharing this beautiful interesting video ..I missed those foods already 😋 😫 😊
This couple makes me smile. From Euro to Phil peso, what a big price difference!
Great segment, great time, great energy and great fun with the short tour Tom and Lay...err, umm ..."Roaming Hogan". Thanks for sharing.

Hey Tom and lay

Fruit shake, then shomi... Lay said "I'm going to have lunch now!" after lunch you grab quek-quek and Tom says pec-pec with a smile.

You introduced your dad. But not your mom. Anyway, a wonderful tour of your home area.
I don't thing the lady was her mom.Otherwise she would introduce her.
Shout-out to the kid wearing the Boston shirt! He's representing us well!!🤘☮️👍💪
It looks like hes an ilocano kid..base on his behaviour....i. am not against the other kids but they seems like streetkids by their behaviour..but it s fun and the two seems enjoying it as well...

Dpt dinadala mo si Lay sa mga mamahalin restaurant para nmn makita ni Tom ang mga magaganda at mamahalin restaurant esp.sa Manila
Now I know why Lay likes to cook good food. It's because her family owns a carinderia
Treat her like a lady and show respect
Don't just call her Philippine girl
So Lays parents had this business when they lived here, she should show the house she grew up in. Pasig is a good option to Makati - and much cheaper than BCG. if you want to live a bit cheaper. And some nice apartments there.
Hi guys, You make me laugh Tom you are always talking about the food quality in the Philippines compared to Thailand and Malaysia etc., but when I watch you eat you have the table manners of Attila the Hun.
