hey buddy..... when I have to force fit hoses like that...I put a small smear of some type of grease in the hose(usually a bit of rubber grease)....it goes on a whole heap easier....... also....just make sure the fuel tank bolts can't foul on the jerry can or they'll rub through....maybe flip them around if they are too close.....
I think using a jerrycan as a fuel source is a great idea Phil the 20ltr should last 4 times longer than the supplied tank. Thanks for taking us on the installation journey Phil.
Why would it go up in smoke. Thousands have and are using diesel heaters. If installed correctly and well maintained, there is no reason why it would go up in smoke.
Thanks for part two. Cant wait to see how to them fit the hot air outlet in the camper.
Coming soon!

Thanks for the info. I tried dish washing detergent, but that did not work.

You and me both!
Thanks Phil. When is the next episode (part 3) going to be published?
It's in amongst some live video's I filmed. I'll need to edit it into a part 3
next time put the black rubber pipe end into boiling hot water, it will soften and expand to push onit the tap
Not this time. I tried that and it still did not work. The internal hole was way too small.
G'day Phil, cheers from Rocky, have a great time in the camper,, new subscriber sending support 👍🦘🐨🤠
Thanks for the sub
I used silicon spray for the fuel line, i wouldn't drill any bigger, you want it tight as possible, you won't struggle with the spray
I tried food grade silicon spray, Made no difference. I had no choose but to drill.
If it all goes up in smoke is it covered by insurance

Do you intend to install a stone guard over the diesel heater tank?
Yes. There is a stone guard in front of it.
