I once ordered 100w lightbulbs and I got 50w ones. I sent a complaint to the seller and I wanted full refund. The seller wanted to return just half of the price as the wattage is half. No way. I did order 100W and not useless junk. He wasnt willing to return the payment, I left negative review ( caused quite a lot of squealing) and still didnt got the refund. Finally I was so pissed of, that I invested my time to go to bank and report fraud and wanted a refund....and it worked. I wonder how much people are ok to buy thing out of spec and get just some refund to shut up....
I'll tell you a little secret! A couple of years ago I bought a five litre ultrasonic cleaner - On a good day, with evaporation, you can just about get 2.5 litres in it. Now, take a look at the box your tank came in, as I did with my cleaner.... What do you notice? Your tank occupies an eight litre cardboard box, just like my cleaner occupied a five litre cardboard box! It became clear to me that the litreage of the product, in a straight sided carton is what you think your getting as a tank capacity. In future, I will be asking "How much does it [the tank, or in my case the cleaner] actually hold?". And if they say "Eight litres" when it clearly doesn't, you've got them banged to rights ...... Otherwise, you just bought an eight litre cardboard box with a fuel tank inside! 🤦🤷🙎
They know what they are doing. They lie about a lot of products. Battery capacity (9999mAh!), torch brightness (50,000lm!), you name it. If it has a number there is someone inflating it.
What gallon? imperial gallon or US gallon? The video is using litres which is a universally understood unit of measurment for volume, not necesary to compare to milk or some other randon foodstuff. (or football fields, double decker buses) Everyone understands what volume he was expecting 🙂 . . .
Don't just complain to eBay, tell them you want a full refund as it is unsuitable or you will leave a bad review. Demand at least 50% off when they argue
It makes perfect sense Chinese watts are totally different to Western watts same with amps and wattage and power and Chinese sizes are a different kettle of fish
Chinese are not at fault for the rip off. They build perfectly good and some very good stuffs in China, or the country would be junk (it sure is not). The rip off is from the resellers and importers that buy low tier junk by tons in sea containers to fill market places. And the few complaints are a drop from their profit bucket that is insignificant. If they get too low reputation, they come under a new brand name the next day with the very same junk that is also sold by so many other rip-off resellers. You can buy good stuffs from China, but you will pay the price of it. Chinese will build and sell the exact thing importers and resellers are asking for. If they ask for cheap junk, they get cheap junk. If they ask for good QA stuff, they can even send their requirements, pay someone in China to check those and import good stuffs from China.

Those are Chinese litres, not European litres 😂
Similar to the Chinese shoe sizing system.
Looks like two half gallon cartons of milk, plus a bit more.
This makes no sense at all 😂

Thank. Ive been looking at those tanks as the plastic ones seems weak. Great to know what to expect. may still buy one

i wonder what makes more money, a reliable well built product and an honest business model, or a scammy piece of junk.

Good video I’ve also been stitched up by the Chinese re this fuel tank. Would be good to hear if you got a response from the seller.
He did. See his comment above.
Send it back then
Hi.
The seller has responded and has offered a 50% refund or return and receive a full refund.
that good, keep the chinesium and get the 1/2 back unless ya need the 8l of volume
thats nice. Seems solid
Chinese litres are smaller.
