THE greatest musician I have ever heard. Yes Buddy has NO equal. And that includes those Yet unborn! How I miss and loved him. May Jesus rest his dear soul.

Still the greatest steeler in my books. Even the "go to" guy today Paul Franklin gives hommage to the Big E for his influence. The Derby Power is gone but will never be forgotten. Buddy's giving the angels a lot of stress playing their harps with him on that Emmons D-10.
"I Love You Because" demonstrates the musicianship which lived in Buddy Emmons. Was he by chance the bassist on that track? Buddy was also a great bass player. R.I.P. Big "E"

Those yet unborn…?
@@MrPatdeeee Ralph Mooney the best on pedal steel and Rudi Wairata the best on lap steel.
None better than Buddy. I was lucky enough to see him perform in St. Louis and it was a serious schooling. RIP Buddy.
Outstanding! The Big E is a HUGE inspiration to me and always will be!
None but the finest performance!

David Smith played bass on the whole album.
