How to Create Wood Texture on Cake

This cake design has been inspired by the Nature and the beauty and intricacy of the wood texture.
Texture is one of seven elements of art.
As an art form it has been one of the greatest sources of ideas for my work. It has always stimulated and provoked my creativity.
You can see texture everywhere.
To begin to correlate reality with the designs I create, I take the time to really notice the textures around me. By walking on the street or flipping the pages of a fashion magazine I never close my mind to colour and texture combinations to implement as key elements of my work.

Colours: White Airbrush Colour
Edible gel colours by AmeriColours: Warm brown, black, ivory ( you can use the brand available for you or preferred by you)
