Omg I have to say Bonnie, this is the most beautiful baby blanket that I've ever seen crocheted, it's absolutely adorable, thank you sooo much for this ❤❤❤
I just watched this video about a week ago and went out to get the yarn for the blanket. I'm making it for my first grandson. Please keep coming out with amazing creations.
Congratulations on your first grandchild ! 🫶🏼 I love making blankets for my granddaughter. Our crochet blankets will be treasured memories that will last a lifetime. Many blessings to you.
Beautiful and unique pattern! I’m getting my yarn today to make it for dear friends who are having their first baby. I used one of your patterns for their wedding gift. Anxious to get started. Thank you!

Bonnie, I am determined to crochet this beautiful blanket. I just completed your bobbles baby blanket and struggled greatly with it; however, I did not give up and learned so much!!! The finished blanket is beautiful even with some mistakes. Maybe I have graduated to the "baby foot" blanket. I love your designs and am so happy you share on TH-cam. Watching you from Austin, TX.

Bonnie, this is absolutely beautiful!! I want to make this blanket now, but I have too many things to do. I have saved this so I will be sure to follow it when I do. I consider myself a beginner but, your instructions are so clear that I believe I can do it. Thanks so much.
That is utterly adorable! Beautiful! At first sight, I thought you would instruct us to "wind five 50 yard balls of contrasting color yarn for each set of feet" - what a pain to deal with all of those balls! Love your method! Love popcorn stitches too! My introduction to them was back in the late '70s in a Celtic Cables afghan I made. It was so pretty, both of my sisters wanted & got one! As pretty as it was, it was nothing compared to your beautiful creations! Thank you for sharing your gift!
Funny you mentioned that Rosemary, because that's exactly how I crocheted the original one years ago. I decided that I needed to find a better way. Thanks for your kind words my friend! You are helping to make the internet and TH-cam a much better place for all of us!

beautiful blanket. I tried to crochet it, but gave up in the center panel with the little feet. I had a super hard time hiding the yarn and doing the bpdcs. I might try again at a different time.
Hi. I've just finished doing the feet after hours of trying, its definitely challenging. I had an idea that might work for you, and that would be to do in the feet in double crochet (or treble in American crochet). I've not tried this but it might make it less challenging and it might work. Maybe worth a try. I hope this helps and good luck! 😊
Also, last year I made the Bold Cables using pattern from your Baby Blankets book. It tuned out beautifully and I gifted it as a stroller blanket along with a larger baby blanket. Thank you.
I have just finished the feet as well! I did two sets of feet along with set of basket weave bordered by the v-stitch to make the blanket longer. Not perfect but next time it will be so much easier. Now to do the edging and I will be done 😊
This is a beautiful blanket! I will buy the yarn Thursday as, I am going to HL. Thank you so much, Bonnie for this pattern! Beautifully designed! I plan to order the book also. I’ll go check it out to see how many patterns are in the book. Thank you again! Hugs 🤗. Robin
I love the little feet so much! Do you have a pattern for the baby hands? If so would very much like to see it. Thanks so much in advance for all you teach us. You are very easy to follow, GREAT teacher. ❤😊
Loving this for my next project as your tutorials are always amazingly easy to follow for a leftie. Wonder if yellow feet on blue blanket would work? Trying not to buy more yarn as have heaps of odd balls to use up. Only 35g of white though. Doubt enough
Made with white as looked best tx. Did extra basketweave as my blanket was much wider than the length. Ended up almost 33inch square. Also used main colour to sc edges with 4mm hook to prevent the mess of white at rhe sides then did sc in white with 5mm then lace with 3.5mm. Loved the result. Looks perfect tx Bonnie for a gorgeous and interesting pattern. ❤
So as 108 stitches down side assume the blanket is shorter in length. This does seem odd . Is it meant to be held/used with feet facing sideways? Appreciate your responses. I know you are so busy. Await your next throw tutorial👏👏👏
May have already been noted, but at 7:19 you say Front Post Treble crochet I didn't catch it was a regular treble crochet until I completed most of row 6 Thanks
Not using sparkle yarn even though it’s very pretty so that I can frog when needed. My tension is much looser than yours so using smaller hooks. I note pattern is missing Rep of Rows 7 and 8 after Rows 35 and 36. Now starting the feet!
Your book arrives tomorrow and I will then get the yarn. The feet will be the part new to me so I hope I can master it. Your UT instructions should help. Also I am hoping for a doable sweater pattern from your book.
Hmmm…could you possibly practice this stitch a bit more? Or do you just want something different. The stitch I would suggest is a bit more challenging than this one.
