I built 1 Hasse 47 then went on to the Tamiya 47's and will never go back. I built Col. Kearby's "Fiery Ginger" {same F.G.} because I didn't know the full set of cowling flaps were available in aftermarket. I used "Strike Eagle" decals. Every one does it, but the wheel wells, gear door covers and tail wheel doors are yellow chrome not green. After the wash everything settled down and your 47 came out fantastic! Congrats!
Nice clean model build, really top notch. And thanks for taking it beyond the usual "what's in the box" review. Actually building the model, what a novel concept. Thanks again
Hasegawa always has scratched up plastic but stynl rez covers it up good.

Hi Bob, thanks for sharing your experience and the info on the wheel wells. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Tony
I wonder whats the story behind that paint scheme...
Nice build of a tricky kit.
Subscribed.
Is this a rebranded Monogram kit?

Great looking build Tony. I like it.
I've got this in the stash, and had never heard about how bad those gaps were.
Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks Dave!
hey Tony a very nice build there and paint job even with the pilot boarding the plane brings it more to life good stuff
Tony, that is a sharp looking P-47. Came together quite nice!
Nice job Tony! Interesting to see a Pacific Theater Jug.
Very nice, Tony! Amazing fit issues for a Japanese kit. The result is brilliant. :)
great build as usual
