Will you be building your own rocket fuel power plant? or prefer to setup nuclear power?

a have like a problem a have to place 1600 fuel generator 😅😅😅😅😭😭😭😭😭😭

@@snakelord8358 I built my Ionized fuel plant at the edge of the map for this reason, a lot of space at the same level to spam generators, 1 pipe is exacly 80 fully overclocked generators and that just about fits before I get out of bounds, just 20 blueprint clicks per line so not that bad :p

Rocket fuel for sure, I made my plant in the same spot. Even did it with diluted fuel to maximize the yield and ended up making 5000/m rocket fuel and building 1200 fuel generators.
I later noticed that I had missed two of the oil deposits as they were just outside of my radar tower so it wasn't quite optimized after all, I'll let that be for now and if I somehow end up needing more than my current 350GW of power I'll expand it later.

@@-42-47 Sounds like enough power for most things , does it look good😅😀

@@mikaellarsson135 Lets just say it looks somewhat acceptable. There's no clipping and all buildings are aligned in nice straight lines, as are most of the pipes. But haven't really payed it much cosmetic attention

I also targeted this spot for rocket fuel production but I used 3 alternates and the 3 sulfur nodes to the W-NW and the local nitrogen gas to be able to produce 1800 rocket fuel/min off 450 crude/min. I used heavy oil residue, diluted fuel, and nitro rocket fuel as alternates.
Nitro rocket fuel skips the compacted coal requirement of turbofuel (still requires sulfur and coal) but 400 fuel/min = 600 rocket fuel/minute while skipping turbofuel.
EDIT: Also, another thing: you don't need anything but the rocket fuel production on the bottom floor. Rocket Fuel behaves like a gas so pipeline pumps aren't required and you can produce it all at the bottom and then pipe it up.

You missed a much closer and abundant source of coal and sulfer towards the bottom left of the crater. Also a close nitrogen spot down there. With diluted fuel recipe and heavy oil residue alt, you can get about 900 rocket fuel per 225 oil.

sounds like an expansion opportunity for me... 😅

@agamorgaming5728 yeah i just finished a massive rocket fuel generator farm. Took 90 machines with 3 shards in each. It only uses 600 sulfur and i believe 300 coal, so if i wanted to get crazy i still have enough local resources to double or even triple it.... but i think i would get burnt out.

they will either buff nuclear and batteries or nerf rocket fuel

Nuclear needs to be buffed it's so much setup for not a whole lot of power compared to even turbo fuel

Did you look into the diluted fuel recipe?

not yet but something i might do in the future

Why does no one in satisfactory use proper metric terminology? It's not "100,000 megawatts", it's 100 gigawatts. It's not 1,000,000 megawatts, it's 1 terawatt.
Or maybe we should start using watts? How does 1,000,000,000,000 (trillion) watts when you mean 1 terawatt sound?
