You always get the most out of your trips! Your current Hawaii trip proves I was too much of a tourist and not enough of an adventurer. And you’re always prepared, know the good spots, and how to enjoy yourself! Always a pleasure!
Hi Kim, we are visiting Maui from cruise ship in early February so we can’t do an overnight. By the time we get off boat and pick up rental car out time will be limited. Do you think we can make it to Wai’Napanapa Park and back?
I understand how long it takes depends entirely on where you stop and for how long. My question is, how long is the drive up and back without stops? We are going to stop plenty, just want an overall idea of 'in the car' time. Thanks!
I did not go whale watching on this trip. Typically, when you go whale watching you want warm clothes, and wind proof. I would suggest bringing a hat as well. Thanks for watching the video.
what do think of the shaka guide app? it is same or gypsy is better? also Wai’anapanapa State Park is one the last think that comes on the way road to hana? please advice.i need to make my reservation for the time.also do u pass the banana bread place that everyone is talking about? thank you
You show yourself walking on Koki Beach when you suggest going to Hamoa Beach. Both lovely but can’t swim at Koki and you should correct this so people know which one you mean.
NUMBER ONE TIP for HANA Trip - Take a Van tour with professional guides. They will show and teach you so much more about the area and know where to stop.
i HATE van tours. your in a van with other people and you can’t go at your own pace. i guess it’s ok for some ppl but i like exploring at my own pace and being able to do what i want and not be tied to the tours schedule and itinerary
What r u doing telling visitors to swim in the pools off the Hana Highway? There is only one state park With a open pool that they can swim. All other pools off the highway is illegal. So you need to watch what u say about our road to Hana.

It depends on the traffic, and I stopped on the way back. Wish I had better information for you.

How is the app working if there is no cell service?
I honestly don’t know, but it worked the entire trip.
When driving the Road to Hana, pull over and let the locals pass. They know the road and the scenery. They are just trying to get somewhere.
That’s a great trip. Thanks for watching the video.
How do you get back from Hana. Do you continue on path you are on or do you go back the way you came?? Thanks
It's best to go back the way you came as the road is better. Thanks so much for watching; make sure to subscribe.
