    For a civilian wanting their first ‘off the shelf’ webbing set that a rucksack will rest down on (Snugpak 70L Rocketpak which is designed to sit on PLCE belt webbing), would you recommend waiting for Jayjay’s tailored webbing sets to come back in stock or by an immediately available set of UKOM webbing?
    I have seen reviews of Jayay’s tailored commanders webbing but can’t find any vid reviews of UKOM yet the price of UKOM seems equally high so assuming similar demand?
    I was considering buying a molle belt and adding pouches as needed but I assume it won’t be as strong or stable as a tailored set with pouches sewn to each other? Thanks for any suggestions

      UKOM is good webbing but the materials and methods used by jayjays are pretty much second to none. It’s obviously a busy time of year for companies that build custom sets so it might be worth asking them how long the lead time will be. Other great options include dragon supplies who are also up there with the best. If you were to set up your own belt it would be more than adequate providing you attach your molle pouches properly but having those pouches attached permanently is both good and bad in that they are more stable and secure but then you don’t have the option of changing things around if needed. But if jayjays is what you’re looking at and you’re not desperate then I’d say wait. Hope this helps

      @@allykitreview121 thanks for the suggestions! yea I have seen people using the molle attached pouches and then using paracord to cinch it all tight and stable, maybe then I could have them professionally stitched 🤔
      Any companies worth looking at for the best modular/customizable molle belts and pouches? Assume Jayjays and by the sounds of it Dragonsupplies would still be the best for putting a webbing set together? Thanks

      Yeah jayjays and dragon supplies are up there as contenders. I used the Osprey 3 row padded webbing belt and then sharpshooter mag pouches with the larger medic pouches as the utility pouches

    How are med pouches modified? Have you altered the zips to stop them from coming open as easily whem fully loaded?

    • @allykitreview121
      @allykitreview121  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only really took out the internals and took the cross off. I’ve never had an issue with the zips coming undone no matter what was in the pouches

      I seen the medkit and instantly thought of your video on your webbing when you said about some people having a single bandage and tourniquet as a medkit😂.

    • @allykitreview121

      The webbing belt is the 3 row Molle Osprey webbing belt.
      L-R all Osprey
      Sharpshooter pouch with drag pouch attached.
      Another sharpshooter pouch.
      4x medic pouches with inserts and cross badge removed.
      Another sharpshooter pouch.
      And another sharpshooter pouch with frag pouch attached.
      The harness is a patrol harness but it’s not produced anymore however you can get similar from jayjays or dragon supplies I believe.

    Can you do a video on how you tailored your webbing (eg. The pouches on the front). Cheers

    • @allykitreview121
      @allykitreview121  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It was an awkward job to tailor it with the machine I’ve got but I sewed the pouches to the hip pad. As for the grenade pouches I actually used a fabric superglue and then sprayed it with Matt green paint to disguise it and make it match

    • @allykitreview121

      It’s the size L 3 row molle Osprey webbing belt. Unsure of the model of the yoke but I know it’s been discontinued however companies like dragon supplies and jayjays do make similar yokes. I’m very sorry it’s taken so long to reply to you. I’ve only just come across your comment
