Just looked at the before and after pictures of this Schroff therapy. It mostly looks like it tones the muscles but doesn't get rid of the curvature. Surgery is the only real option for Scheuermann's.
How do I keep my shinner closed. I was at the skatepark an hour ago and whacked my leg on a 90 degree angle metal box and I have a nice hole in my shin
Hi lads, I am a 55 year old pretty fit male with scolelosis, I have recently come to the conclusion that I have a tight right groin, eg I twist to the left when I walk, my left stride is longer than my right , it's almost like on leg is longer than the other, do you think this is directly related to my scolelosis ? Now I am starting to notice that I walk like a crab. 🦀 Much appreciated PeaceFromOz 🇦🇺
I found out I have scoliosis a year ago where my right shoulder is lower than my left shoulder (my spine is slightly in an S-shape to compensate for the fact that I was having a shorter right leg). I was wondering, if I use an ergonomic chair and set the right armrest higher than my left one, would that be a good idea to slowly fix my uneven shoulders issue?
I am 64 with severe degenerative scoliosis. I live with pain that is sometimes severe and debilitating. It mostly stems from muscle spasms and pain due to excess stress and strain. Is there ANY help for me? Or am I doomed to live the rest of my life like this?
Proper therapy can offset the mechanical disadvantages of the misalignment, and in mild cases can even place them in a more proper position. (After all, some people develop scoliosis in adulthood; the spine can be stressed that much.) But for most, total relief without a life-long exercise/stretch regimen is impossible, but quite a bit of relief *_is_* possible - just as bad practices can make it worse.
From what I've seen, yes, but usually when used in conjunction with a brace, such as the Spinecor. The best combination schroth-spinecor provider I know is Scoli-Fit. They've been doing both for years and from what I understand they were the first in the US with the spinecor brace. I'm not a doctor or anything, I just know a bit about it.

Can adults get scoliosis fixed?

so can this method lessen the curve

Years of this treatment will barely help you at all. Look up before and after pictures and you’ll see
