Luv the sunrise over the water waiting for the fish to bite. My favorite thing to do. Just got home from my own fishing trip. Big redfish bite. Luv the fight.
Saved this video for first thing this morning. What a perfect way to start a day with a quality video full of nice blue cats. Thanks for another adventure, friend.
Another Nice video!! watching while its snowing here in Kentucky. Could not believe you took that head off BUT you have to give the fish what they want. Please keep posting!! I'll keep watching!
I’m jonesing for a cat trip bad. Too much work to break away though. Thanks for dragging us along on you’re adventures! Great content as always. Thanks
You may be ALOT of things, but ONE thing is sure, You're definitely NOT lazy! You gotta get up pretty early to catch the sunrise! Thanks for the inspiration! Great video!
Another great show Justin. Would love to fush with you oneday. Over here in far east TN I only catch channels and the occasional flathead, would love to catch some big blues.
😢 sha it's an okay day for me .. however , thanks for the laughs ... It made me feel better .. darn sarcastic fish.. just so you know the look on your face says watch out ... At the end ..
Quick question. When you and others say that catfish can tend to get down down in the mud on the bottom in the winter to get warmer, do they just lay on top of the mud or are they digging completely underneath of it out of view? I ask because I got a deal on an underwater camera that I'll toss in while my poles are also in. While I pull it across the bottom (unless I put in under a bobber) I have seen bass, and other smaller fish, and even crawfish, but I have yet to see a full view of any catfish in one of my local lakes that I caught catfish in this past summer. I saw the whiskers of one in a different lake further away but then it swam out of view. So once again, do they get completely out of view under the mud, or are the visible on top of the mud? I'm going mad trying to figure out why I'm not seeing or catching even a small one right now. Can't believe I havn't had atleast a few come into view. Thank You.
Hey Justin, I live in Arizona and we don’t have skipjack. But I do see you catching an awful lot of big skipjack, do people eat those if the river water is not contaminated? Or do they just get used for bait.😊
@@KayakCatfish well, thank you for giving me an answer. I know one thing it seems like the catfish sure like them I’ll catch you on your next video. Take care.
Why do you never try half backed skip jack ? baking with somme spices only the outside of the skip jack ?? So you can still hook it verry well ;-) it it is worth a try ! somme days if you catch nothing you could try to turn the tide with this . Lots of days if the fish dont take the traditional baits they will take sommething they dont know, just to taste it ;-)
Great video, Justin. I think blue catfish are beautiful. Fun to catch, and 15 lbs and under are great eating.

My grandpa said if the sun is up you're already late, they call em catfish because they hunt at night. The boss cats feed late. Catch em if you can!!

They will bury down in the mud. Thats why a lot of fish you pull up will have mud on their sides and back.
@@KayakCatfish Completely buried?
Like completely underneath the water?
Getter done😊
Good to see you out on the water chasing catfish
Thanks Keith!
Double up at the end for a bonus.stay safe and enjoyed the video
Good vid. Let's do some catfish cooking recipes with the baby cheetah.
If I was down there I'd be right there with you buddy

They bite all winter. I just haven’t went after them in the cold months
Do you ever try carp fishing this time of year?

Hey Justin, I live in Arizona and we don’t have skipjack. But I do see you catching an awful lot of big skipjack, do people eat those if the river water is not contaminated? Or do they just get used for bait.😊
I don’t know of anybody that likes to eat them.
@@KayakCatfish well, thank you for giving me an answer. I know one thing it seems like the catfish sure like them I’ll catch you on your next video. Take care.

Have you ever caught any other kind of fish besides cats, just at random. Like maybe a sturgeon, or maybe a paddlefish. Something unexpected?
