ever have any issues with water and the intake ??? I have a mk4 GTI vr6 with it and the air filter and maf sensor are in awful places and my car runs like crap due to water getting on it

yup, I had a few spare MAF sensors for this very reason as it died all the time and made the car run like poo. One way around it is to custom make a watch catch intake filter
