I’m working on getting things together to start a lawn business and I just wanted to say your videos are exactly what I was looking for they’ve been so helpful. That goes for your website as well. I’m also in Alabama In the Birmingham area. Thanks.
Bermuda can take 3-6# of Nitrogen per 1,000ft per year. Without PGR’s I’d stay around 3-4# of Nitrogen but with PGR’s I’d opt heavier, especially if you’ve got a patchy lawn like myself.
@@lawncarelife I’ve seen PGR’s take decent turf (Bermuda, Zoysia, Seashore Paspalum) and really make them “pop”. The color, density even root systems do much better with a good PGR system in place.
My bermuda has been choked out by clover. I used a 3 in 1 product, but it seems that it just fed the weeds. I'm not sure what to do. Lay down new seeds?
I think this will be your year jason! hopefully you can get that yard filled in 22! Thanks for the tip on St Aug fert rates....its lower than I expected.
You can look to find some with a similar composition to the ones I showed in the video. Or ask someone local for their recommendations. Would depend on your grass type
What would you recommend for fescue I live in amarillo tx and we have poor soil very low on nitrogen and thank you for making all these videos I'm learning a lot I got into plant Healthcare management I'm more familiar with fertilizing trees our turf guy left and now I'm picking up his turf jobs
I have Zoysia and had seed heads popping up. According to the seller of my grass, they recommended a 13-13-13 fertilizer. I spread the correct amount on my lawn, but have noticed considerable burn from the fertilizer. Is there anything I can do to get it green again? Or do I just need to water it out? We haven't had a good rain here in Atlanta in over a month. So that may be a factor. Thanks!

What is your take on adding humic and carbon to a bermuda lawn?
Hey man. Love the videos.
Thank you
I highly recommend an iron treatment before the 4th of July. It makes your lawn more American.
Jason you need to shoot steady video, get a gimbal they are great.
I just bought one

Thank you . I may apply a pgr if I get tired of mowing so often

Have you used Howard’s ? If so what’s your take on it
No. Sorry. I haven’t used it

Thank you. I only have a few St Augustine lawns so you may want to get a second opinion
My cool season lawn is going to seed as well. Should I apply more fertilizer?
Do you have any local store fertilizer recommendations??? Thank you
Local? Where do you live?

So you only put a little over 2lbs of N on your bermuda per year?
I probably wasn't very clear. That is what I have been putting out on my second fertilizer application. Probably closer to 3 lbs for the calendar year

Unfortunately, I don't have much experience with Fescue. Hopefully someone else can comment to help
If you know you're low on nitrogen, get a high nitrogen fertilizer. I've had good luck with the Sta-Green brand. I'd put down some gypsum too.
Humic acid and iron and spot spray
No fert on fescue you can add fungicide

Probably needs water. Hopefully rain will come soon
