The original uses Miyota 0S10, the clone uses Langexin LD57, which seems to have similar dimensions to Sunon PE903, which in turn is an equivalent of VD57C. I wish I had access to technical guides for each of these movements to be able to compare post diameters and eye and button placement.
I was very happy with this watch but after only using it a few days, the chronometer began to malfunction. I mean it works fine for a few days but then when I stop the chronometer and push the other button to reset it, the hands won't go to zero. They go random. I set the hands to the correct position (zero). And again after some time the problem reoccurs. Has anyone else encountered this very annoying problem?
I bought one based on this review, and it is certainly a nice watch and well worth the money. It is odd that this is advertised as a women's watch. A 38mm dial was considered large just a few years ago. Personally, I prefer dials around 40mm, but this "women's watch" doesn't look very feminine to me.
No Japanese movement here, don't know where you got the idea that it has one, as there is no such mention in any literature, online or otherwise; also the case back clearly and proudly states "MADE IN PRC". It does have a Chinese Langexin LD57 movement, and the one I bought for my kid is running 20 seconds ahead after a month of use. Also, as every Aliexpress watch I've bought so far, the bracelet was too sharp as delivered, so I filed, sanded, and polished it down to make it bearable to wear. US$13.37 shipped, so no complaints here, and the kid gets lots of compliments in school for it.
Amazon, AliExpress and the like always seem to mark anything under 40mm as a "woman's" watch, but rest assured it's unisex and perfectly fine on a man's wrist
Sadly, I missed out on the white dial, but I do have a blue dial on the way, I think I paid €23 for it. And I'll be grabbing a white dial as well when they're back in stock (and hopefully at such a great price still), and will probably swap the dials between the cases depending on specific construction and how the rehaut is assembled into the watch, as I believe the blue dial comes with a case with a black bezel, and I think that'd look awesome in combination with the white dial/black rehaut, and the blue dial/blue rehaut would look better with the silver bezel. Anyway, glad to see that MiniFocus made some wise choices in mitigating issues associated with a plated base-metal case.
Hah! A shop got their stock replenished today and I did grab a white dial version for just €15.29 (I think the blue dial I ordered was one "with box", so cost a few euros more). I am very pleased with that, and really look forward to getting them both in hand now. :D
Bought this watch today …I am 6 feet 2inches … this watch looks like a kids watch to me … soo small dail .. had to change the bracelet otherwise it looks awful in wrist … if you have smaller wrist …you can buy it…. I am not sure about my wrist size maybe its 7.5inch
No importa, ya hoy en día el tamaño no importa una mujer lleva un Moonswatch de 42 mm yo tengo una muñeca delgada o pequeña y me compre un Pagani Desing 1701 (homenaje al Speedmaster)
You must unlock the slider by releasing the small lever (tip of a knife may come handy). Then move the slider and lock it so that the small lever falls between links.
Thank you for the nice review:) You said the movement is made in Japan. Are you sure? As far as i know the movement is made in China (LD57 to be precise). But it doesn't really matter at this price point as long as it works correctly.
@@weswatches i think there is a chinese automatic bullhead with the st19, you can get it for 200$. for that price ill get the citizen. but for this price, im getting the black for me and the blue for my nephew. thank you for the review, i was unsure wether i should get one but you reasured me..
@@sivanstar Red Star make the bullhead chronograph housing the ST1901 in blue/green/brown. It's closer to €300 including VAT, so I'd guess the USD price to be about $240 or more. Plus, it's a manual wind, not an automatic, and of course, also not a split second chronograph, either.
Split Chrono for $15 bucks! Crazy value! Thanks Wes! 🙂👍
Any time! Thx for watching 😊
Bam..! In the cart... checkout.... ready for shipping!
Just ordered one. It’s incredible that a $15 Quartz watch hits all the markers on the minute track.
Finally a good review in english 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Just bought the silver version for £15.67 delivered, really looking forward to this one! Excellent review as always!
Thx 👌
Bought for £11 as a first time purchaser. Arrived in a week to the UK. Very impressed with the finishing and operation
Great to hear!
Cool review thanks buddy
P.S. A 42mm version would also be great 👍

Fantastic video! I've been looking for a panda dial for ages but nothing has caught my eye until now. Thanks!
Glad you found a good fit 👏
Can you always turn on the other clocks? Won't it cause low battery immediately?
Ordered it.

Thanks to your review I ordered the blue one.
Hope you enjoy it!

Long time my dream to buy only this watch hoping soon deliver
After your last video featuring this watch. The green version is on it's way to me.
Outstanding value for €20 delivered
Awesome value 💯 congratulations!
I've almost bought this a few times but, its always listed as a women's watch. Guess ill suck up my pride.
I would say unisex, considering a 38mm diameter ☝️

This is really cool. And I actually quite like the name Mini Focus. 😂

Been waiting for the white for weeks, and today I was lucky enough and got it....

if have gold is good
Really having trouble adjusting the bracelet for this. Adjuster Seems to be locked. Anyone know how to adjust?

Mine is arriving later on.
I wish they were more expensive, because harsh case brushing (2:05), alloy and stamped bracelet are 💔

Thanks for the info!
You are welcome. I just bought this nice watch today:)
Who the heck is Joe Hanes?
Just got two, the silver and blue one. Again, if I were married my wife would blame ya😂
Fair😆😆
its still sitting in my cart 😂
if only the case is stainless rather than alloy ...
I like thiswatch but as a reissue have to be automatique, even the new citizen is quartz...whats a shame
Automatic for 15?? With a split second Chronograph? You must be joking 🤣
