The vintage Citizen was alloy cased also. It was originally a men's watch. But now watches are bigger. Don't bother with the new Citizen reissue. It's nearly a 1:1 copy of the Mini-Focus. They both feature a cheap rolled SS bracelet, quartz mvt, cheap mineral glass and made in China. Citizen $300, MiniFocus $15. The only upgrade with the modern Citizen is the SS case for an additional $285.
It's the same size as the Citizen . It does wear on the small side so for anyone with larger wrists this is not for you unless you put it on a leather cuff strap . I bought one with the blue but I have very wide wrists & it looked to small on me . I gave it to my daughter & she's been wearing it for a year with no issues . I did buy a gold one & put it on a leather cuff strap aka Brad Pitt - Once Upon a Time in Hollywood & it looks great ! Cheers
Funny. Before the Brad Pitt movie the vintage versions were selling for about $100 in working condition. I have two vintage I bought before the movie, and one MiniFocus. Neither of the vintage keep time anymore.
I have 7 inch wrist and it wears like a Seiko 5. It also sits taller on wrist than a Seiko 5. A lady could wear it without looking out of place, but it is defintely a masculine looking watch in person.
Just got the citizen quartz reissue, but I'm still gonna pick one or two of these up mostly for the unique and somewhat rare split second timer but also because they're so damn cheap
Oops, it’s an alloy case.
