yeah it's probably the worst thing that they decided to remove. Bonding with Kalters and then getting a Fjord from them was probably the closest horse bonding we had in the game.

Yesterday I was looking through my old screenshots and I noticed something. One thing I miss the most is the old, beautiful, starry, night sky texture. It was soooooo pretty, the stars were everywhere... Today's night sky is nothing compared to the previous one
Yess :( it was so cool how the game’s lore connected to the past games so if you wanted to get more of the story you could play them along with SSO, but now the story just doesn’t flow anymore
i remember when i first started playing i was obsessed with ashland, it was my favourite area despite it not even being released. It genuinely makes me upset to think that ashland will never fully be released. They constantly tease about "garnoks fury" which is the volcano, yet they most likely will never release ashland. sso needs to start focusing on their older lore and areas that were actually interesting and immersing instead of focusing on new things that don't even feel actually interesting. I can think of so many ideas for "the hidden dinosaurs nest" and ashland but they will never be used
I belive that ice witch lore was scrapped since it was highly related to Kallters lore. At The end of whole Kallters-DiscoveringDinoValley lore, there was a quest where we said everything we saw and discovered to Avalon (wich was the one who wanted us to check on Kallters btw) and he mentioned that his vision was his reason to send us there and was in fact true. He said that "When Kallters Leave Jorvik trought the ice gate, whole Island will be doomed and covered in eternal snow and Blizzard by The Ice Witch " - saying in less complicated Language - this had potential to be one of the Best stories out of main story but after that quest it wasn't continued. I also had a little bit of hope that they are going to reviwe this story since we got mini-aster egg wich is hidden in one of the books in Fripp's room. Fripp mentions Kallters in his notes and Wonder what was the reason that make them Leave Jorvik so suddenly without s sight. Second thing that made me think sso might try to rewiwe this lore is fact that Katia got ice Powers she didn't had Before Dark Riders remodels, so she might be in fact, The ice witch or (mine theory) she is possesed by The Ice Witch. Let Me explain: In last events (not counting Halloween and Winter) we were imtroduced with New Dark Riders models. Katia was first of them We had interaction/quest with during Rainbow Festival and it was really special since we had opportuity to get a lot of information form it. She is one of few characters in whole game wich actually speaks English not jorvegian like other residents of Jorvik. If you had opportuity to do quest with her at Rainbow festival and listened really closely to what she was saying (not what was written that she was "saying"), you could hear her character say really odd voice lines like: Voice line 1:"Help, me...", vocie line 2: "... me... Help", Voice line 3: "He-e-e-lp meee~~......... HAHAHAH" (*maniacal laughting*) -- wich wasn't what she was saying in Reality. Many of us didn't even realised what her character was really saying since her voice was deformed and sounded really otherworldly like voice of an ghost hear from far away. We also had occasion to see her character standing (not sitting On the horse back) kinda chilling near the Light house in moorland wich happend only at Rainbow Festival event so fsr. Her posture and way she was acting (standing animations) aslo said a lot about her: once she smiled, once was sad, looked around into nowhere and than focused her sight on something real, like she was Day drraming and than suddenly waking up or like sh wasn't really conected with this World - wich might be another sign of possesion. Another odd detail is fact that eyes of her and her horse are both white and since Dark Riders are conected spiritualy like Soul Raiders, with their Horses, Katia's horse aslo can be possesed. And what have Katia done while Rainbow Festival in the quest? Yes she took away all colors in Cloud Kingdom, but she also changed wheather to icy cold and there was windy and chilly over all of the Jorvik. If she had more power she could froze whole island and if no would stop her it our Island could be covered in eternal Winter.
Dang it- so many of these ideas were soooo good! Lol watching this made me feel old… I glitched my way into Ashland and it was honestly so cool, really sad to see SSO not expand on it.

Go to golden hills and climb up the mountain to the left side of jaspers farm, you’ll see black and purple land and the very place the old crack used to be, the crack is gone for me because I had the luxury of doing the quests in 2014
They have mention ashland in a book from a quest on the rainbow feasible. Only they have mention all the lock lands form quest so who know which one we are getting first. I think it might be devils gap since the main quest. they forget about the fridge doors that was another thing. I can't think about more but I will comment it once I remember.
I miss all old event and holidays in starstable, they were so much fun every single one of them. I remember when sso were going to addapartments so that we could have our own apartment, which would be so cool but they just scrapped it aswell. Like we even got some furniture from quests
Not getting Ashland and their removing the Kalter lore is probably one of the most painful things about 'new SSO'. I'm not particularly into lore in the game (though I do love when it stays consistent, oooh burn) but having someone of importance in Dino Valley made it feel more alive. Aside from them and the brief quests I can remember, rip, what do we have now? Three people who stand in a circle in the same spot every day with nothing new to add? I think the absolute most painful is how different the vibes are (the old game gloom, the far superior sky textures, the superior 'crunchy' world compared to this new awful (imo) plastic Barbie dreamscape, etc). And then of course there's the god awful pricing...
There was also supposed to be a mainstory quest with Lisa to be released about her interests during the search for starbreeds. If you can remember that questline you might remember Lisa went on a solo mission we never heard about again. And back then they did say we were going to learn more about that after the starbreeds quests. The same goes for the Kallters. They left off an exciting questline about the Kallters leaving Dino valley through the icengate, because of that roar from possibly the Yeti. And the quest with the GED and Chill was also forgotten. We still don't know when will continue preventing the GED from destroying the Harvest Counties and Epona with their mission to get drakonium. And the collaboration with Darkcore. And indeed Ashland is still closed off. Dino valley opend up in 2014 and 9 years later we still don't know when or if this area wil ever be used. It has so much potential especially for the mainstory.
All of it just bothers me so much as the game i play these days does not even feel like the same game I played and fell in love with all those years ago- it just feels so different and the constant scraping of older ideas and lore makes it so hard to stay involved ánd not get confused as to what is and isn't canon to the lore at this point I miss the events bro and the kalters were so fun as you had to really build a relationship with them before you got to buy your fjord and also cold tolerance got removed for idk what reason same goes for horse stamina and horses getting thirsty/hungry etc after a while Areas being scrapped is just getting on my nerves cause I wanna go to ashland and such by now also what is up with that one island in epona we still can't get to bro- That was my rant lmao :)
I'm late to comment on this video, but what I kind of hated was the fact that they got rid of the bus tickets and the waiting times for the bus. I don't know for sure but I think you can't see the bus driving (especially in fort pinta) anymore and that just makes me sad, because that was such a nice concept and I liked it - you waited with other players so that you can go to Jorvik City. This just has been removed basically and now it's not the same since. Also I think they removed the quests with that rapper in the shopping mall as well? But I'm not sure, I just know that this was also paired with the show thing in the shopping mall.
Most of these original ideas may be scraped, but I believe that Starstable will revive, tweek and revamp some of them in the future. The reason why they haven't done it yet, even though ten+ years have past, could be because they haven't found a good solution yet on how to implement those ideas to the game or lore that fits the current story progression. It's just my thought, and I hope we'll see a lot of these ideas in the future. I hope they will open up Ashland and the Mystic Valley etc. I mean technically they can, because we have access to it on the map, so it's still a possibility.
I might be wrong but I don't think you can get to the GED office by glitching. I've tried to fly there with the dance glitch but i always go straight through it. That being said, star stable adventures apparently logged on inside it after tying to fly to it.
Im so disappointed to sso for removing the kalters, removing quests and changing the storyline, characters. The game is soo boring now when easter, valentines day and other events are not coming back. All they do is upload horses, the game is soo boring now

Ngl, since the old fjord horses are atleast I think still in the game files, SSO should rerelease them like just for 1-2 weeks so people can get them again and then they can well yknow, put them away again. Though maybe they don’t have the files of them anymore or they can’t resell them. I don’t know, but that seems like a good idea to me as like me, I so SO BADLY want an old fjord, They looked so pretty! But sadly.. I joined I think a few months before they were released, and didn’t unlock Dino valley by then…

Even if they did bring them out again for a few weeks some ppl wouldn't have the star coins (I don't believe sso would discount them and one was something like 1.2k) or wouldn't be able to log on at the time so many would still be asking to bring them back after.

Why do we need them there gaits are so off and the texture is just eeeehh, it gives me the hibi-jebies, like bro I never even heard of a curly horse irl before, never, and I have had horses in my family since I was born
