Check with a different servo, if it go back to normal, then is the servo problem, but if still have that green light issue, try calibration it, if it still not working, then the esc is done, is so easy to kill traxxas electric specially esc, vibration ( like landing on jumps) and over heating the system all the time, use it in the cold and get it wet all the times, you will kill the traxxas electric very quickly (kill it fast then other brand of electric).
That's why you see a lot of hard basher swatch to other brand of electronic after the traxxas electric ( my maxx oem esc last half year and rustler 4x4 1 year).
For me I use hobbywings now, all esc and motor are still working until today (ex: the hobbywings sc8 on my rustler 4x4 had bash on 4s and full pouch on snowy and good days for 4 years now, no problems whatsoever), even the 4 years cheap aftermarket motor from Amazon on my rustler 4x4 last triple of the time then the vxl one (traxxas motor last only one year, then switch to a cheap amazon motor, still running now a day with no power lost).
Check out the abuse I give to the rustler 4x4, hobbywings esc and aftermarket motor with in this few years, you will know why traxxas electric is at the bottom of my list now.
The fried steering servo blanks out!!!!!!!
The start-up of the speed controller!!!!!!!!
Duh new steering servo
Possible from all the speed test and getting to hot going into a safety shut off.
The maxx is a tank toughest rc out there!!
You betcha
Sounds like a servo that has a short-circuit. Traxxas ESC shut off when there is a short.
May have been blanking green because your throttle trim wasn't set to zero, so the esc wouldn't calibrate or was still in thermal shutdown mode. Possibly needed to be manually calibrated after the servo overheated.
Ahh ok! Thank you!
Nice video guys. I can not get my v2 max too go straight on the road for nothing. I don’t know why but I can’t even drive it on the road it’s so bad. I did change my diff fluid I’m thinking that might be it. Do you know what the stock fluid is from factory on the v2 maxx front center and rear ? I can’t find that info ?
We’re not sure, but we like to use grease in the rear diff
Love the video. It helps me a lot on deciding what to get next. Thank you so much
Glad it was helpful!
Those clouds always be ruining the thumbnail 🤦🏻♂️
Also can the sledge self right?
haha and no it cannot as the spoiler gets in the way 😭
The accents threw me off lol
😂
“It’s because the spoiler is white not hahaha” he was about to say black lol
hey we are not racist around here
Cool video thanks , what battery is being discontinued ?
not quite discontinued, but the 4s 5000mah kind of has no use since a 6400mah fits in the new maxx
This is what I’ve been waiting for🤩
Blokes they are all divine 😂😂😂
What’s the best gearing to run in the maxx also what oil u running in the shocks
We use stock gearing and its really powerful! it all depends on what you’re aiming for. If you want speed i’d up the pinion gear : spur ratio. We also use 50 in the back and 40 in the front for the shocks
The one…. You do say… yes it is
great vid guys… always keep an eye out for your content 😉
Thanks !
Blinded by the cloud🤪
