    Thank you for sharing. Love it. I just made a pair but did a wire wrapped loop at top. This is a nice alternative to the wire wrap loop. What I'd LOVE to see you make is that ring on the middle finger of your right hand! I will check your list to see if it's already there. If not, I'd LOVE to see that one...great ring, love it!

    Is that tool called “rap and tap”? What brand is it? And the hammer you use is a domed hammer? It looks like the head is bigger than regular domed head hammers.

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    What Fretz hammer were you using for the texturing at the end?

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jeanne!! Just asked Jason.. it was the silk hammer - our number one texturing hammer for over 10 years! Here's the link :), aloha!! jamie. thebeadgallery.com/products/rawsilktexturinghammer?_pos=1&_sid=ed5d22e4d&_ss=r

    How long did you cut the wire for that size?

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I tend to work about 3-4" for most of my easy peacey wire components, and I enjoy 18 gauge or 16 gauge the most!! Aloha!! jamie

    How do you keep the wire from tarnishing?

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as it's sterling silver and exposed to the elements, it will probably tarnish. Try to keep it bagged and clean and this will be the best preventative measure :)

    • @p.kimbrell5382
      @p.kimbrell5382 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a product called Tarnex to clean my silver jewelry. It's amazingly easy, just dip jewelry in it and instantly it is shiny clean like new. It does smell like rotten eggs though, but worth it! It's in a black bottle with white lettering.

    Great video, but please, slow down enough so the camera person can better show what you're doing, maybe more close up video while you're working the wire. Thanks!

    • @thebeadgallery
      @thebeadgallery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks for watching! as far as slowing it down, you may want to do that on your own, in the settings (looks like a flower or cog wheel on the bottom right of the screen). adjust the playback speed to whatever you need... good luck and aloha!

    • @p.kimbrell5382
      @p.kimbrell5382 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, but the problem is actually that the camera person is not capturing what your hands are doing. What you're doing is being obscured by your hands in several shots, making it impossible to see what you're doing and slowing it down won't really help. I should have been more clear. What I meant was that if you slowed down your camera person could get better shots. Anyway, just a suggestion. Otherwise great content, ty.
