I was one of the first users of BluSmart. Advanced booking, preferably 12 hours prior to the scheduled journey, the vehicle would arrive 30 minutes beforehand, wait for the passenger to board the car, and the rates were immensely reasonable. I travelled everyday from Green Park Extension to Kasturba Gandhi Marg at almost half the rate which I'd have had to pay if I Ubered or inDrive'd to the destination. Plus, the training recieved by the drivers is top notch! I've never once had a negative experience with BluSmart. First class service!
I've not used blu yet but the way you explained, I had similar experience with Meru cabs in 2009-10.
😂
But u guys (mostly customer) don't think 1% of driver men .
Company mostly policy are bully and harassment driver for example baseless penalty and baseless heavy debit on car dent
Sonia is absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous.
He sounded so genuine and authentic. Somebody who has done his homework and know what he is talking about unlike so many of the founders who just talk some goodie good jargonised stuff. Wish BluSmart all the very best. Really loved it !
Brilliant guy!! Someone pls fix the typo at 32:38, its "pareto principle", not potato 😑
watched it just for Sonia❤
I mainly use Blu smart for going to airports or railway early in the morning. Amazing service at affordable price. Feels good to see indian company focusing on quality . All the best to Blu smart team.
It's good to see Host smiling and asking questions and hearing a lot...
Just amazing how simply he explained the business!!! Great company ....superb business model... amazing service and of course the brilliant founder. Cant wait for this company to list.
He radiates positivity man! A lot to learn from him.
His talks are so passionate about his business
Hey CNBC Editor. Its not potato principle, its pareto principle 😃
Amazing person, kept me hooked until the end. Love the amount of research and analysis done. Glad to learn more about a company that i came across on roads of the city.
Honestly.. just for their zero cancellation feature, I am more than happy to pay a surge premium in price. May be they’ll do it in the course of time. But their service quality is phenomenal.
Just amazing business model and great conversation between the both of them.
His insights with business model are terrific.
Can't focus on his explanation.. have to listen audio only to understan better
ykiyk 😂😂
Was a good episode……Right kind of questions…..and a good entrepreneur who I feel answered well
they r doing good job by maintaining own drivers and cars !
Inspiring journey and great learnings 😊great interview
Excellent business strategy..you hit the right spot🎉
Lovely insightful discussion. Sonia- you are enjoying and pleasantly shocked...look at your smile with open mouth 🙃
One of the smartest interviews I've come across!
Avg. trip price shall come down to near Rs. 250-300 range with more number of trips and makes it more affordable for the regular commuters.. with scale this is a revolution in the Indian taxi market.. Already Uber made a big purchase order of EVs.. They will be arriving soon by 2025 and Ola is one step ahead, planning to manufacture their own EV fleet.. This will be the future and BluSmart is leading and driving this change.. India needs more of these, ppl are fed up with traditional Ola and Uber taxis for all the reasons..
Every 5 out of 10 experience I had on Uber here in US was horrible. Cars were dirty and some drivers used to sleep in car as they didn’t had a couch to crash on
Love this company and its founders. Very nice interview as well. It would have been great if she would have asked questions on what is the constrain on growth here, are they enough supply of EV cars for them? Which are the main bottlenecks they are facing?
Brilliant guy
I use BluSmart when I am in Delhi and Bangalore and it’s just amazing . Drivers are so polite and cars are super clean…It beats Uber and Ola hands down.. my only request to them is to expand aggressively …It’s badly required in Mumbai
Sonia is gorgeous and great host
Great initiative!
Why your podcasts are not on Spotify?
@CNBC TV18 : Punit was mentioning about the Pareto Principle at 32:34, and not Potato principle.
Blubluesmart guy ripped me off for 2500 Rs for a 300 Rs ride. I will never ride bluesmart
Are you not planning other modes like 3wheelers specifically to cover other cities which you don’t feel good for car rentals?
uber has outsourced customer service at the hands of its driver "partners". the objective of these partners is to optimise thier daily wage than customer experience. thats the problem with uber/ola model, they have been able to scale very fast using this model but at the cost of customer experience. since blu smart is paying fixed wages and leasing thier fleet, the customer experience becomes much better. the downside of this is you cannot scale very fast which pe/vc investors like just to just pump in money and exit once it gets big.
You should have asked if Metros which are made is an threat to the company ??? 40:12
Love blu - Ola needs to learn from em!
With Electric Infra, it’s going to put pressure on Electricity Generation & while the infrastructure for charging can be developed gradually, is the future really electric? There’s lot going on in the battery manufacturing & battery regeneration. Is electric the bubble that we know is burst sooner than later?
So quality of cars, drivers is an excellent idea, there are similar issues like keeping the car quality consistent, pay for drivers, training for drivers, customer service. Keeping zero surge pricing can be challenging keeping the profitability for blue smart in the long run…why wouldn’t Uber do this?
Amazing interview.. Thanks
Pareto principle not potato principle :) the captions at time 32:34 @CNBC-TV18
When will blusmart come to pune
If they are that good
Why are they not marketing their product and service?
I am suffering every time I book an Ola and Uber
I didn’t know their was a service like this available in market
As long as the drivers are people who eat gutkas and stuffs, it'll still be pretty much the same as Ola and uber...
It's Pareto's Principle, not POTATO Principle !!! (@ 32:35)
BluSmart is best
He looks way similar to Rishi sunak😅
High time we screw Uber and Ola and get high quality cabs in India. Most Uber/Olas are worse than public transport!
Apne driver partners ke sath gulamo jaisa vyvahar karte he
Aane wale waqt me cars to hogi inke paas lekin driver nahi honge
all these nonsense founders come back from US, copy the business model, have buddies in the VC space, then give us gyan through podcasts
I find Uber better than BluSmart
