This was a good stretch-out for me (Blues & pop player), and it's a type of music I like to listen to, so it was all good for me!

Total lack of creativity in most jamtracks channels, they are all the same, same chord progression everytime they say fusion... Gymnastics with no musical content. also, this is not fusion, this is below average elevator funk pop for restaurants. The same thing that goes on EVERY jamtrack channel on the tube, what a drag. Taku’s playing is very good tho’ and I edit this to make clear that I appreciate his musical talent and skills….

Thank you for your honest feedback. I understand your disappointment, and I apologize for any unpleasant feelings I may have caused due to my musical immaturity.

@@JamTracks4Guitar No mate! You are brilliant, you play wonderfully, is not your personal fault, is a general lack of creativity on these channels. You all carbon copy each other. I think is a generational thing, if you only eat rice, you won’t learn how to make a roast. I see only people who eats rice. That is the point. I guess if you get out of the cage and make some real chunky fusion with more than an elevator music feeling you would get a lot of listeners that may be usually fed up with this reheated soup. I also think that your skills as a guitarist could really shine, because you play really nice. Listen to some fusion, maybe, before calling this thing fusion. It’s like calling Three Blind Mice “classical music”.

Thanks for your reply and kind words! I really appreciate it. I was actually feeling a bit down today, but your feedback was very insightful and helpful. By the way, when I think of fusion music, I usually think of artists like Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and Weather Report. However, to be honest, my current skills aren't quite up to par yet, and there are many complex chords that I still can't quite catch. So, you might see me labeling some of my music, which is closer to pop, as fusion for the time being. Hope you can understand that. Of course, I'm always working hard to improve my musical skills, so I'll keep practicing and learning!

@ I would like to hear more of your playing, you have great taste improvising melodies, I’m sorry if I sounded harsh and I hope you feel better today. I subscribed to your channel… Viva Taku!

Thank you so much for your kind words and for subscribing. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm actually a bit embarrassed to admit it, but what might sound like improvisation is often the result of many takes - sometimes over 30! I'm constantly working on improving my rhythm and pitch, as they're definitely areas where I'm still growing. Your comment today really brightened my day and gave me some valuable perspective. Thanks again for your support😊
