A lot of what went down was a comedy of errors, but in the current trade market I don’t see the value of us letting him go for nothing, he’s still a young high upside qb who never really got to sit. If we can trade him we absolutely should but I hope we don’t release him
As a Bears fan it was just as painful to see Fields go from “learn for a year behind Dalton to try not to get killed in your 1st start against a ferocious Browns pass rush” 🤦♂️ Seeing how Lance couldn’t prove himself in limited action after a “redshirt” year and then Purdy took the ball and ran with it as literally the last pick in the draft is keeping me up at night debating whether the weapons the Bears have now are what will unlock Fields(plus adding MHJ) or if they need to just go with Williams and never look back. At least he’ll be in a better situation than Lawrence was…

@@Dee-- IKR! It makes the argument that anyone could be a good QB in Shanahan’s system except of course the guy they gave up so much to draft. It’s also along with Stroud’s success in Houston why guys like Wilson, Fields and Jones don’t get the benefit of the doubt for all the excuses made for why they haven’t succeeded yet.
Penei Sewel is only 23 and is regarded as the best RT in football he is going to have a lot of All Pro Seasons ahead of him.... teams just be prepared when he declares as eligible
I was SUPER pumped for Jaycee Horn coming out of the draft. I even said he was better than Patrick Surtain. Ugh. Man just can't stay healthy to save his life.
Never thought he was or would be better. Surtain was always the better prospect. Plays more soundly. Horn just had that high ceiling temptation for Carolina.
HOT TAKE: I’ll always say this, from the QBs, covid made their numbers inflate and made them look good so they were drafted way higher than they should’ve been
I would say the opposite tbh cause they didn't play many matches that year. The only player you can say that the stats did in fact make a player overrated is Mac Jones
Bad take Trev missed games due to contacting covid Trey opt out of the covid season Zach was just garbage before and during (typical Jets pick) Justin best season was before covid and struggled during covid to catch a rhythm Mac maybe but his benefit was having 3 NFL WRs , 2 NFL rbs and an majority NFL Oline
and thats why the GOAT mahomes had his best season after covid.................................... recency bias insane to forget the goat was better pre covid---- and the bears have still never had qb pass for 4k yards in their history

Idk they had great weapons around him last year and they still missed the playoffs. CJ Stroud is everything Lawrence was supposed to be and he had an arguably worse supporting cast
@@GrayGamerit’s simple: 30th ranked OLine in the league last year after they got to 8-3, beating out only the Panthers and the Giants. It was open season on TLaw, he got hurt and the run game died
Trevor is the heart of the team. Last year he was playing well and the Monday Night game would have been the best of his career had he not gone down with an ankle injury. After that the offense struggled, the defense had been exposed, and injuries piled up. I don't have to imagine the Jags without Lawrence I'm m a Jags fan. I saw that for 25 years

Well, Justin Fields was traded to the Steelers for a 4th round pick (2025), if he plays 51% of the snaps this season, otherwise it a 6th-round selection. I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong in that the Chicago Bears were going to keep Fields, and I apologize to Football Analysis. However, I still think Fields has what it takes to start in the league, and learning behind Russell Wilson will do wonders for him, and I’m not yet sold on Caleb Williams until I see what he does in the regular season.
@@FootballAnalysis1I've heard that said about so many picks (Reggie Bush, Luck, Vick, Vince Young, Trevor Lawrence). Unless you're talking very near future, like next 2 years, then yes Caleb is the future. But we'll see how it plays out. If Caleb turns out to be a stud then that Carolina trade last year may end up as the 2nd worst trade ever after Dallas Dyanesty setting Hershel Walker trade.
The Trey Lance pick stings even more, cause while the Jets were bad enough to land the 2nd overall pick, the 49ers traded up for a project QB that did not pan out. For the 3rd overall pick, the 49ers had to surrender 3 1st round picks (12th overall in 2021, 29th overall in 2022, and 29th overall in 2023), and a 3rd round pick in 2022 (101st overall) as a sweetener to the Dolphins. Ironically, none of the 1st round picks acquired by the Dolphins were actually used by the team, as you will find out. The 1st one stings very hard, cause while the Dolphins did not pick him, that 12th overall pick became Micah Parsons, who is the current pivot of the Cowboys defense. The tale of how the Cowboys got this pick is an interesting one, as the Eagles also held it at one point before sending it to the Cowboys. The 1st round pick in 2022 was sent to the Chiefs as part of the Tyreek Hill trade, which the Chiefs in turn flipped it to the Patriots for their 1st round pick, which became Trent McDuffie. The Patriots ended up selecting OL Cole Strange, which pun intended, is a strange selection to say the least. He's there, but not a set the world on fire type of guy. Staying in 2022, the 3rd round pick WAS used by the Dolphins to select LB Channing Tindall, who is still with the team as a rotational player. Kind of on par with what you expected from someone picked in the 3rd round. The 1st round pick in 2023 was sent to the Broncos as part of the Bradley Chubb trade, and the Broncos traded this pick to the Saints for the rights to HC Sean Payton. The Saints would use this pick on DT Bryan Bresee, and while it is still too early to evaluate, Bresee is shaping up to be a solid presence in the Saints defensive line. Hindsight is 20/20, but if Parsons was still available on the board at 12th, there is no way the 49ers would pass up bolstering their potent front 7 by adding Parsons (imagine Parsons AND Bosa coming at the QB together). The 49ers would not have picked Strange in 2022 given the chance, but they would have gone for the guy picked after him: George Karlaftis. The 49ers must be kicking themselves to let the Chiefs have Karlaftis and McDuffie (who ended up with the Chiefs via proxy from the Dolphins trading picks) Furthermore, Bryan Bresee would have also been a welcome addition to their front 7, especially now that Javon Kinlaw is gone. All the 49ers have to show after trading for Trey Lance, and then trading him away, is a 4th rounder this year (2024), pick yet to be determined. While the 49ers have shown to have found diamonds in the rough before (George Kittle and Talanoa Hufanga), anyone they pick is probably nowhere near the caliber of Micah Parsons, George Karlaftis, or Bryan Bresee.
Micah falling off in the last month of every season needs to be talked about. They talk about a rookie wall but he's a vet now, he's worn out come playoff time
Don’t know how Fields gets a C while Wilson gets an F when Fields was in a much better situation yet yielded basically the same results. Seems like the NFL as a whole feels similarly about him
I think Justin gets a grade of D-, he might be great at rushing but his percentage at 4th quarter clutch ups are around 20-25% compared to other Bears Qbs that have played in the last 10 years who had a clutch up percentage of nearly 50%
Sewell and Parsons are future Hall of famers. What’s crazy is I think the 3rd best player from this draft was Amon ra st brown and he was a 4th round pick. Then I’d say other great picks were surtain, Chase, and Slater.
I feel bad at how the new first round QB picks have turned out and been treated but it goes to show just how bad their respective organizations have been and continue to be. Surprisingly, this includes the Patriots, along with the Bears and Jets. Nowhere did the Bears give Fields any offensive weapons nor offensive system. Instead of trading down or staying strong to draft Marvin Harrison Jr. they traded Fields away. Jets did attempt to give Wilson with AVT but looking at how he moved around signals just how bad the rest of the OL must have been. Jets did no favors by kowtowing to Rodgers demands to get his OC and players. Incredibly, Rodgers seeks to be VP before getting shutdown by RFK himself.
Crazy that when the Bears traded up to get Fields, many analysts thought it was genius. He was a highly rated prospect. I hope he improves in Pittsburgh.
@@ramonejones6749nah his talent is easily first round, he def deserved first round, but not 2nd overall. His career could’ve been insanely different if he went 10-15 picks later and sat out a year or two.
Where’s the talent? He doesn’t have a great arm, he’s not accurate, he is incapable of reading defenses and he lacks intangible qualities like leadership and instincts. He’s kinda mobile but other than that he’s shown nothing that suggests he’s a great talent
As a Jets fan, I hate the Chargers. They stole Slater, although I am a fan of AVT, praying he is healthy, but they could do something dumb at pick 5 this year, that affects us.
Penei is an all-pro RT and a future LT all-pro. At the start of his Rc season there were 3 Starters out. LT, C & G. He practiced on the right tackle spot because the Lions had Taylor Decker. He starts on the left side with NO PRACTICE TIME AT ALL! He did great against Nick BOSA who told the reporters that Penei should stay on the left side. He had ups and down for the first half on the LT side but then switched back to RT after not only not playing that position since the start of the year but no practice time since the end of the preseason. That first year he shown his potential to be really good on either side. He was also like 19 or 20 when drafted. Very young and had a year of playing stolen from him in college the year before during 2020 Covid whereas Slater had 2 years more of playing time. I like Slater but all this talk that he’s better than Penei was overhyped.
Amon-Ra never getting a Pro Bowl makes me not care for the pro bowl tag (note k now spell pro bowl all in lower case). At least the football gods made him an ALL-PRO! (And all upper case for ALL-PRO!)
I would give Trey Lance an incomplete grade. We were never given a proper sample size and he wasn’t a great fit for the 49ers timing offense. I’d like to see him over a period of several games before saying he was an F. I’m now curious what you grade you gave Jordan Love after essentially sitting for 3 years before playing
Ngl I’ve thought about what grade I’ll give Jordan Love for a few weeks now. I think you can make a case they win a SB if they draft Tee Higgins where Love was It’s going to be tough to grade and I’ll address that in the video
Zach Wilson deserves an incomplete even more so than Trey Lance. The reasoning, Trey was replaced by Purdy who was also a rookie and shined. Doesn't look good for Trey. On the other hand, no QB looked good for the Jets including 4x MVP Aaron Rodgers who lasted all of 4 plays. Plus Joe Flacco looked completely done playing for the Jets and the following year led the Browns to the playoffs while also winning comeback player of the year.

Good that you admit that you agreed with the picks that later became the draft busts. And that the draft grade is not always on the player but how the player was used by the team. Shows honesty and that fans can be overly critical of draft busts. Every team has plenty.
The 49ers should be lucky they have a stacked roster and lucked out in drafting Purdy. Because screwing up by drafting Lance would have set back most teams for like a few years. They should have drafted Fields instead of Lance at the time in my opinion.
@@ataturk_33 Fields is way better then Lance I think he would have done well under Kyle especially in the west coast offense but it looks like at this point Fieids might have to settle in being a backup for a year because the QB market has dried up
@@jalenjohnson0339 Fields cannot read a defense. He made a top 5 offensive line look bad because he holds the ball. He is horrible and people only pretend he isn’t because he’s black. They do the same for Trey Lance and Malik Willis. Frankly, I and many other sports fans are tired of it. Black quarterbacks are not inherently good because they are “talented” (which, let’s face it, for most people simply means “more black”).
He doesn’t deserve a shot. The NFL isn’t a daycare I played more football games in high school than he has played in high school, college, and the NFL combined
When you trade your future away for a first round pick, you kinda don't get the luxury to redshirt him. He has to be an immediate impact player. You don't give away 3 picks, Multiple firsts, and a pick swap for a "project player". Thats the kind of deal that you could get for a current MVP. Imo, thats the kind of deal you give to get Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, etc.
One thing I’d suggest is grading teams instead of players in a slightly longer video, splitting into afc and nfc. Just saying because at a rams fan, we aren’t talked about at all
Zach played behind the worst offensive line in football and still had a lot of good moments like his last complete game played which was against Houston. That game he threw for over 300 yards and multiple touchdowns in a monsoon so I would say he still has lots of upside.
This draft is a cautionary tale to any GM'S thinking about taking a QB in the top 10-15 who is not a can't miss. Every year the hype machine cranks up to elevate undeserving QB's, and they get picked over all pros at other positions.
The 2021 QB draft class is the most overrated of all time. Trevor Lawrence is nothing special and the rest of the QB's have been traded and are future backups.
As a Bengals fan, i was pessimistic about them taking Chase over Sewell when they already had Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, but my stance has definitely changed since then. Still, if only if they had been able to get Sewell... 😔
2:00 agree it should be a F especially the 2022 and 23 seasons. But that also should be on Belichick. The free agency signings of 2021 were a disaster especially on offense with overpaying Jonnu and Henry at TE, Agholor at WR. Then the OC hirings. Man which qb would succeed with Patricia/Judge running offense. Only Bourne was a n ok signing. Missed out on Hopkins who ended up signing for more with the Titans.
A B for TL, eye roll. Dude took his team to the playoffs with his 1st year with a real coach, and last year lead the league in dropped passes and TD. Trevor is all that.
Rashawn Slater was a absolute excellent pick by the Chargers cause he's very special young man but he really ment something to the team at Right Tackle without a doubt 4:40
coming into the draft I said that Pitts was the most likely to be a HoFer. I felt his ceiling was that high and chance at near ceiling career; now I didn't think he'd be the best player in the draft, I felt Sewell was most likely to be the best player but HoF is a different beast.
I remember seeing sometime ago that if the Jets didn’t take Alijah Vera-Tucker, the Pats would’ve picked him and then got their QB in the 2nd round with someone like Davis Mills
10:47 Its almost insane to consider the Broncos drafted a Pro Bowl CB and ended up worse for it. I can guarantee you the Russell Wilson trade happened because of the backlash to this pick. Most Broncos fans DESPISED this pick and immediately began calling for George Paton's job because he didn't pick Fields here. Even though corner was a legit need for the Broncos because of letting Chris Harris and Bradley Roby go. Even though basically all common sense in the world told you that Fields was probably gonna be a bust. Even as someone who liked the pick, I find myself going "Man I wish we had drafted Fields here, because at least if we draft Fields and he still ends up a bust, we probably don't trade the equivalent of 4 first round picks and 100 million dollars of cap space for Russell Wilson, who mind you, played worse than Fields for most of his tenure in Denver."
Giving Justin Fields a C is probably the most baffling grade in here to me. He hasn’t had a season with even 3k passing yards nor a season where he played all 17 games in his time in the nfl. Mind you last year he had DJ Moore to throw to and couldn’t hit that 3k passing yards marker. Being a 1000 yard rusher as a quarterback is good but when you are going up against guys like Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff and now Jordan Love who are all at least franchise level quarterbacks that is no where near good enough. If you want to be generous to Fields than he’s a D with the saving grace being his rushing ability, if we are being honest then an F it is. When you are in a quarterback dominate division you can’t be caught with a sub 3k passer
@@youtubeistryingtocensormeFields only had sub 3k seasons 2021 - 12 games played - 1870 passing yards - 420 rushing yards - 2290 total yards 2022 - 15 games played - 2242 passing yards - 1143 rushing yards - 3385 - total yards 2023 - 13 games played - 2562 passing yards - 657 rushing yards - 3219 total yards Even if we combine his best passing yards in a year with his best rushing yards in a year (3705 total in this made up case) he’s still not a 4k combine quarterback. Mind you Jordan Love put up 4416 combine yards (4159 passing yards and 257 rushing yards) and Jared Goff put up 4596 combine yards (4575 passing yards and 21 rushing yards). Neither of them ran as much but still have better numbers than the fictional best for Justin Fields.
Counterpoint. A. He's on the bears, they haven't had a passing offense in decades B. He's been their entire rushing offense because they have no good RBs or OL C. Most of the bears losses in 2022 were 1 score games, so they traded their no.1 pick to the panthers and now have the no.1 again, DJ Moore and still have their own first
Peneii Sewell is without question a BEAST as a excellent Right Tackle this guy will be the real heart and soul to the Detroit Lions franchise for years to come but I will love it if he wins a Super Bowl Ring with the Lions I know that he came so close to going to his 1st Super Bowl after reaching the NFC Championship title game for the 1st time for the right to go to the Super Bowl but it's not his fault the Lions will run it back of 2024 13:16
Micah Parsons is the absolute animal with the Cowboys no doubt this guy out of Penn State University is the real deal pretty soon he'll be a future NFL's Defensive player of the year for sure...A+ 5:51
I agree with mostly everything and I'm not a Jags fan but Trevor should probably be an A- . When grading picks, I do like to weigh opportunity cost of what the team could have reasonably picked at the spot at that time and how that would have worked out better or worse. Short of trading away the spot, the Jags smashed that pick. They needed a QB. The only other reasonable pick at the time would have been...Zach Wilson. Trevor has helped make them a legitimate playoff caliber team instead of an expected bottom 5-10. Now if the discussion was "how many NFL Qbs are worth an A grade?", then maybe he deserves a B because there are enough other QBs I'd rather helm my franchise for a year. But I also consider he had the equivalent of a "lost" year with his first coach and how other QBs fared afterward when they had massive coaching changes. The only ones that havent pretty much "sucked" in the past 5 or so years have been Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence. That pops him into the A tier for me. If so many of these other "top prospects" couldnt handle it and he could, that makes him better than "above average" in my grading (even though i suppose "average" is Failing for these other QBs, lol)
Love Parsons but something that needs to be addressed from the Cards game onward this past season is that you can run straight at him and control the game. It’s kind of the story of the Cowboys right now, they have super talented players without a complete skill set and teams that can attack those beat them. Usually pretty badly. Not really his fault, he’s small to be responsible for holding the amount of ground he’s asked to, but the fact that he’s a liability in the scheme they’ve been running is a problem.
Zach Wilson gets an F in 2022 for being benched when he started 5-2...after Flacco started the Jets' season at 1-2. He gets an F in 2023 for being benched again (as a backup), and only going 5-6 on a Nathaniel Hackett-led offense, and behind an OL so bad that Aaron Rodgers lasted only four plays into the season. Who will become the next QB bust drafted by the Jets?
@deezytalk2600 because he was drafted by a defensive minded coach and wasn't developed. Before you point to CJ, he's an anomaly, that happens 5 times out of every 200 QBs. Yeah, Zach hasn't been the best, but he was never really given a real chance to learn, his QB room had a vet journeyman who wasn't good, another QB upstart who wanted the starting job in Mike White, what or who was he going to learn from? If Pat, Josh, Joe, Lamar, Jalen went to this team, they'd likely be in the same boat as Zach. Pat wasn't highly recruited out of TAM. Josh Allen was a project QB coming out of Wyo, but what happened? He was developed and learned on the job, with a decent coaching staff. They let him fail.
Nah before I even get into this vid I want to say Zach Wilson A+ pick. He'll throw for 40 or so tuddies next year without a doubt and will sign a record contract. Mac Jones will win the starting job in Jacksonville and be SB MVP.
Everyone he talked about, even if saying they were underwhelming, he was able to find a positive play clip of them...EXCEPT Zach Wilson. All interceptions for Wilson. It'd be hilarious if I wasn't a Jets fan.
Trevor Lawerence and Justin Herbert defenders will say “he needs a better coach weapons and defense!!” While telling you Brock Purdy is just a game manager in the same breath. I don’t get it 🤦🏻♂️ also, picks like Zach Wilson and Trey Lance should be a tier worse than F. They were catastrophic draft choices.
And he really said smitty isn’t elite ? How great deep speed great jump ball skills he’s tough durable never hurt elite route runner and always creates a lot of separation he’s most definitely elite
I hate Mac Jones, but to give him a D+ and Fields a C is just disrespectful, he has been way worse than Mac and was in better situation, people just like Fields because he can run fast, he’s a big bust and will be a backup just like Mac
Yeah pro bowls dont mean anything anymore. Antoine Winfield being left off proved that. His stats blew away all other safeties and he literally did what no other player has done before. Pro bowls are no longer a measuring stick

It’s also along with Stroud’s success in Houston why guys like Wilson, Fields and Jones don’t get the benefit of the doubt for all the excuses made for why they haven’t succeeded yet.

I was SUPER pumped for Jaycee Horn coming out of the draft. I even said he was better than Patrick Surtain. Ugh. Man just can't stay healthy to save his life.
I think Horn would be elite as well, but surtain is just one of those dudes you wish you had instead
The potential is there for sure, hes a top 10 corner when hes on the field, its just staying on the field thats the problem
Lol healthy or not he's not in surtains stratosphere
Never thought he was or would be better. Surtain was always the better prospect. Plays more soundly. Horn just had that high ceiling temptation for Carolina.
This was such a great class. Franchise changers over and over

Bad take
Trev missed games due to contacting covid
Trey opt out of the covid season
Zach was just garbage before and during (typical Jets pick)
Justin best season was before covid and struggled during covid to catch a rhythm
Mac maybe but his benefit was having 3 NFL WRs , 2 NFL rbs and an majority NFL Oline
and thats why the GOAT mahomes had his best season after covid.................................... recency bias insane to forget the goat was better pre covid---- and the bears have still never had qb pass for 4k yards in their history

Caleb is the future 🐻⬇️
@@FootballAnalysis1I've heard that said about so many picks (Reggie Bush, Luck, Vick, Vince Young, Trevor Lawrence). Unless you're talking very near future, like next 2 years, then yes Caleb is the future. But we'll see how it plays out. If Caleb turns out to be a stud then that Carolina trade last year may end up as the 2nd worst trade ever after Dallas Dyanesty setting Hershel Walker trade.
The thing about Mac is not only the missing of help, but also the availabe QB prospects and the need at 15
The Trey Lance pick stings even more, cause while the Jets were bad enough to land the 2nd overall pick, the 49ers traded up for a project QB that did not pan out.
Should probably redo this grade with Fields traded for a conditional 6th round pick

Lions… Sewell, St. Brown, McNeil, and Barnes… all starters…
Don’t know how Fields gets a C while Wilson gets an F when Fields was in a much better situation yet yielded basically the same results. Seems like the NFL as a whole feels similarly about him
Bc he run fast wow so much potential 💀
I think Justin gets a grade of D-, he might be great at rushing but his percentage at 4th quarter clutch ups are around 20-25% compared to other Bears Qbs that have played in the last 10 years who had a clutch up percentage of nearly 50%
Because he's not good...
I just feel bad for Zach Wilson man, the kid had talent, but it’s been wasted. His NFL story has just been kinda sad.
Zach had one good year in college during Covid in empty stadiums with a cupcake schedule against depleted teams. He shouldn’t of went in the first
@@ramonejones6749nah his talent is easily first round, he def deserved first round, but not 2nd overall. His career could’ve been insanely different if he went 10-15 picks later and sat out a year or two.
In 2 games vs Utah, Zach threw more TDs to Utah than he did his own team
He was never talented
Dude just benefited from a weak Schedule
Where’s the talent? He doesn’t have a great arm, he’s not accurate, he is incapable of reading defenses and he lacks intangible qualities like leadership and instincts. He’s kinda mobile but other than that he’s shown nothing that suggests he’s a great talent
@@cannonschwarz9554 he had time to read like 8 books in the pockets he had in college.
As a Jets fan, I hate the Chargers. They stole Slater, although I am a fan of AVT, praying he is healthy, but they could do something dumb at pick 5 this year, that affects us.
As a chargers fan we love slater. Need a right tackle tho. At 5 we likely take reciever but hoping we trade up a pick or 2 for marvin harrison jr
The slim reaper pick is an A+ especially considering the Eagles track record with drafting receivers.
id say devonta smith compliments aj brown really well, like how Higgins is with chase
Trevor Lawrence only being one grade better than Justin Fields feels wrong.
Imagine this class of QB ends up like that class of QB. Last years was hyped but not near as much as this year or 2021.
I think this is one of your best evaluations. My only quibble is that Parsons has so spectacular that he deserved an A++.
Thank you so much Terry!
Think he gives the grade becuase how much the niners gave up and I'm sure they gave him every opportunity to beat out Jimmy g but he couldn't
he didn’t look good when he did play
Ngl I’ve thought about what grade I’ll give Jordan Love for a few weeks now. I think you can make a case they win a SB if they draft Tee Higgins where Love was
It’s going to be tough to grade and I’ll address that in the video

Fields and Lance are the same player. The 49ers just had an option to move on faster

If the QBs panned out in this draft class 2021 could’ve went down as one of the best ever
Great video. 🦅
One thing I’d suggest is grading teams instead of players in a slightly longer video, splitting into afc and nfc. Just saying because at a rams fan, we aren’t talked about at all
Crazy the the 9ers were able to get more in return for Lance than what the Bears got for Fields.
Can you do a vid on your view of how the jets did addressing their o line this off season?
The 2021 QB draft class is the most overrated of all time. Trevor Lawrence is nothing special and the rest of the QB's have been traded and are future backups.
Can’t be overrated if everyone calls it bad, it’s just bad
can u do a piece on nfl dad/sons and compare plse?

Really great draft in retrospect
Jaylen Waddle made a huge impact right out of gate 14:38
A B for TL, eye roll. Dude took his team to the playoffs with his 1st year with a real coach, and last year lead the league in dropped passes and TD. Trevor is all that.

How are all three wrs A or A+? When there was an all pro wr taken in the fourth this class, and they passed on either parsons or all pro OTs.
Anyone know the song title to the last instrumental that started on zach wilson grade?
How do you feel now that fields went to Pittsburg to play under Wilson?
I’d have to say that the lions didn’t hit a home run, they smashed multiple grand slams!
Even as someone who liked the pick, I find myself going "Man I wish we had drafted Fields here, because at least if we draft Fields and he still ends up a bust, we probably don't trade the equivalent of 4 first round picks and 100 million dollars of cap space for Russell Wilson, who mind you, played worse than Fields for most of his tenure in Denver."
just spawned into a new video gonna be a great saturday
When you are in a quarterback dominate division you can’t be caught with a sub 3k passer
fr, I feel like he only did that so he wouldn’t get hate, Fields has been worse than Mac ffs
3000 passing yards +1000 rushing yards=4000 yards
@@youtubeistryingtocensormeFields only had sub 3k seasons
2021 - 12 games played - 1870 passing yards - 420 rushing yards - 2290 total yards
2022 - 15 games played - 2242 passing yards - 1143 rushing yards - 3385 - total yards
2023 - 13 games played - 2562 passing yards - 657 rushing yards - 3219 total yards
Even if we combine his best passing yards in a year with his best rushing yards in a year (3705 total in this made up case) he’s still not a 4k combine quarterback.
A. He's on the bears, they haven't had a passing offense in decades
B. He's been their entire rushing offense because they have no good RBs or OL
C. Most of the bears losses in 2022 were 1 score games, so they traded their no.1 pick to the panthers and now have the no.1 again, DJ Moore and still have their own first
You're a hater
That was good buy why didn’t you do it in draft order as you get an even greater impact on how good or bad the selections were?
Love Parsons but something that needs to be addressed from the Cards game onward this past season is that you can run straight at him and control the game. It’s kind of the story of the Cowboys right now, they have super talented players without a complete skill set and teams that can attack those beat them. Usually pretty badly. Not really his fault, he’s small to be responsible for holding the amount of ground he’s asked to, but the fact that he’s a liability in the scheme they’ve been running is a problem.

Parsons actually is part of the reason the cowboys have underperformed in the playoffs. Dude is a disappearing act late in the season
Is there any particular reason why the Jets always seem to draft USC players at a higher rate than other teams?
Zach Wilson gets an F in 2022 for being benched when he started 5-2...after Flacco started the Jets' season at 1-2. He gets an F in 2023 for being benched again (as a backup), and only going 5-6 on a Nathaniel Hackett-led offense, and behind an OL so bad that Aaron Rodgers lasted only four plays into the season. Who will become the next QB bust drafted by the Jets?
Zach Wilson's evaluation can easily change if he isn't a Jet.
Explain how “easily” it could change. The man is simply not an NFL qb and everyone including himself knows it
Because the Jets are a trash franchise that ruin Quarterbacks
@@Flow_EasyMahomes actually went to Texas Tech.

The Bears got a sixth round pick for Fields.
W video by the goat

One of the biggest disappointed QB class probably in the last decade
Hard for Smitty to crack the top 5 or 6 when the guy across from him is one of them lol.
And he really said smitty isn’t elite ? How great deep speed great jump ball skills he’s tough durable never hurt elite route runner and always creates a lot of separation he’s most definitely elite
@jamarvinb6252 On top of that, smitty has been more durable, despite being the smaller wr.
@@jamarvinb6252his numbers prove he’s not elite. Y’all can use your feelings all you want the facts don’t lie
@@jamarvinb6252he’ll never be a dominant WR1 though, he’s only 170 lbs, can’t do what Chase does
@Kyle-bi7df smitty one of the best route runners out here. Their stats aren't that far off.
I hate Mac Jones, but to give him a D+ and Fields a C is just disrespectful, he has been way worse than Mac and was in better situation, people just like Fields because he can run fast, he’s a big bust and will be a backup just like Mac
"Micah is far from the reason" the only thing Micah did in against the Packers is draw a single holding penalty.
Patrick Surtain II he's awesome no doubt he is amazing 11:51
Peneii Sewell deserves A+ 1st Round 7th pick University of Oregon 14:28
Yeah pro bowls dont mean anything anymore. Antoine Winfield being left off proved that. His stats blew away all other safeties and he literally did what no other player has done before. Pro bowls are no longer a measuring stick
I love your analysis and picks, but to imply the Cowsucks would be in a Championship game this century is ridiculous.
They haven’t been lol
