Thank you. I have been using Chebe for about 4 weeks. I follow the way the ladies from Chad put it in. I love what it is doing to my hair. I have zero breakage with just a little sheading. Since February I have not put any heat in my hair. I measured my hair at the beginning of August and then on November 22. It grew from 14 1/2 ins. in the front to 18 1/2 ins. and 16 1/2 ins. in the back. I make my own oils, butters, and waters from all nature products. My hair is growing like it's on crack! LOL!. I watch you and three other ladies who talk about natural hair. Thank you all for inspiring me.
Hi , what kind of oil do you use ? How often do you use the chebe powder?
I infuse my own oils with herbs. I make three different combinations. The oils I use are extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, Jamaican black castro oil, and hemp seed oil. I just learned how to make karkar oil, the original oil they use in Chad, which consists of sesame seed oil and cow fat. I will be making it this week to try. My hair likes all of those oils with my infusions, so I rotate the use of each.
By the way, I use Chebe just like they do in Chad every 3 to 5 days. I wear my protective style under my wigs. I plan to do this for about a year to see how long my hair will grow.

Sis I started using organic coconut 🥥 oil for my hair. I still use a relaxer but the aloe and organic oil ( avocado 🥑 coconut 🥥 and olive 🫒 oil) has really made my hair grow grow.
IN LOVE with this concoction! My hair has been truly thriving with this mixture. My hair so soft and thick and super easy to detangle when I take my braids down after a month of this on my hair. And the chebe powder is way less messy to deal with this way!

You should try a different method if you're only retaining 2 inches in a 6 month period. Naturally it's supposed to be 1-2 inches a month WITHOUT chebe etc... Try the egg mask or the avacodo mask many other mask ... That will help you on your journey
@@BunniiBlossomBleum the rate of growth is different for different people. I have since switched to the avacoda & egg mix Cardi B use and my growth is still slow

I love Chebe! I don’t mind the cigarette smell either because of how the powder benefits my hair. I keep Chebe in my head. The last time I took my braids out, reapplied Chebe and braided my braids up again, I had 2 strands of dead hair from my whole head 😳
I made mine into a hair butter. I used Shea, mango and cocoa butter plus a lot of oils I like plus vanilla and lemon essential oil to improve the smell
I think I will try with the butter. You still can’t put the butter on the scalp for thinning spots??
@@jamierichardson361 do not put chebe on your scalp no matter what you mix it with. It will worsen your hair loss. It is solely meant to retain length, not make your hair grow

Ms Tea, can you tell us how it has helped your hair? Are you natural? Has your hair's moisture level changed? Strength, growth, tangling? Has it changed the color/shade of your hair? I just ordered some, but it hasn't arrived yet. My hair is natural(4c) for 8-9 years or so, but it's only to my ears/neck area. I'm going to use it for moisture retention under my wigs.

I used Chebe in my hair for a month and I had really noticeable growth. I don't know how many inches but my puff was a lot bigger than before I tried it. I plan on keeping it up through the winter to increase my hang time for summer wash n go's.
did you keep the chebe paste in for days at a time and just wash and reapply? doing this for a month?

Tried this over the weekend. After three days washed hair and it is so soft!! Hardly any shedding or breakage since then. Chebe does leave some flakes but otherwise worth it. Will continue to use. Thanks for this simple method.

Hey, Mercy. I watched a Chebe video yesterday and the girl said only put chebe on the hair, not the scalp. It will irritate and dry the scalp. She said that's why Chadian women can leave it in for as long as they do. They avoid the scalp.
Hi Mercy, nice video. To avoid the messy particles, I plan on infusing mine in water and applying it as a leave - in conditioner daily. Try that out.

I use the rice water water and aloe vera juice to steam my hair every three months. I use the oils as well as I mix the oils with other things to make hair oil as wel as leave in treatment and use those at least twice a week. I keep my hair in protective styles for at least three months so that it can get a break and grow

Mercy I have to give u all the credit I was dealing with my ends breaking and dry hair after using your aloe Vera method for about a year my hair went from 1 inch to almost 5 I so grateful there are people out there who care about hair and have the patience to get on TH-cam and help others but thank you sooooo much I probably wouldn’t have hair by now lol but thank you!

Chebe powder is a really great mix for your hair but it does tend to irritate the scalp/skin. It helps if you strain the powder into your oil first, then there won't be powder falling out of your hair when it dries up and the mix won't be itcy too. Great video! Peace & light 🌅
What do you mean by strain the powder?
The chebe is to be kept away from the scalp for that reason. It has zero to offer the scalp. All it does is protect the actual hair from breakage.

I was told that the Chad women don't wash their hair due to drought conditions, they just keep applying the chebe mixture every few days. However, they don't apply it to the front of their hair because a big forehead is beautiful in their culture.

I was using chebe powder for 2 months. Within a week I was seeing results in length and texture, but I couldn’t stick to it too messy for me. I would leave it on for a couple hours and wash it out that night still amazing results that way, but the mixture would be in my hair, down my neck it’s like it never fully washed off until a few more washes.
