The castor oil don't necessarily have to be black castor oil. Back in the 70s and 80s my mother made our hair grease and she used regular castor oil and my hair grew down to my butt. During that time there wasn't any black castor oil in our stores no where.

The conditioner your using isn't natural. You shouldn't use that conditioner as a leave in you should try oats hun. Alot of chemicals are in your conditioner. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will use it when I'm struggling and can't afford my organic soap so I can make my own shampoo.

If you are using the chebe with the powder inside don’t use moringa or neem powder but if you’re not using it mixed with the powders then use it

If you do use the powder and it doesn't dissolve strain it with a cheese cloth ... I use neen oil and organic castor oil... I have locs 3ft long
