    quick tip for those in the comments: When you add 'f' variable to framesToTime, wrap it in a 'Math.round(f)'. That way your slider will be less glitchy as it's moving between whole numbers.

    Great video! Is there a time-saving way to not have to drag each layer @3:59? because I have hundreds of images and want to save time

      Thanks! Yes there is a quick way using AE sequence layer option. Here's a quick video how to do it: th-cam.com/video/TcU017L8ywo/w-d-xo.html

    Hey! Thank you for this great tutorial, it helped a lot!
    Do you know if there is a way to create a motion graphics template for Premiere where you can import a new image directly in Premiere, instead of choosing one of the five images already placed in After Effects? There should be a control called "Import image" in the template.
    For example: Use a place holder background image in AE that you can change directly in Premiere, without opening AE.
    Any ideas? This would be a time saver! Thanks in advance :)

      Great question. I don't know if it's possible. I'd have to search or ask around. If it's not possible, it would be a great feature to request to the Adobe team.

      @@cmdelavega I'm on it for like 2 weeks now, and the only way to do that (for now) is to create the Essential Graphics Object directly in Premiere pro :(

    Hi, thank you for this amazing tutorial. I did it and it works perfectly fine in after effects, but when I use it in premiere pro, the slider doesn't do anything. How could I fix it?
    I used it for changing the logo icon between fb, whatsapp and instagram in my lowerthirds template, logos are in .AI in AE project.
    Thank you for your help.
    EDIT:
    I made it work now, it was a language problem, my AE was in Spanish and Premiere in English, so there was an error on the expressions. I just changed AE to English and rewrote the expression.
    Again, thank you.

    Hy, in advance .. Very cool what you do I like it very much. I tried it and it worked .. But is there also a way to assign a text to the images at the same time ...
    For example ... Soccer logo1 = (text1) fc Barcelona.
    Soccer logo2 = (text2) real madrid .. Etc ....
    It would save me a lot of time.
    Since I would like to use it as an essential graphic ..
    Best regards from Austria

      Hi Markus, you can link any text so you can quickly modify with essential graphics. Here's how to do it: th-cam.com/video/bLorOU52K-0/w-d-xo.html

    Hey my bro, the first video on your link doesn't work anymore :( also, is there a way to put the images on Adobe premiere instead because I would be using different people's faces on my work for different jobs and going back to AE just for that would be too much. Is that possible?

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry about link. I changed hosting site and need to go back to my videos and fix it. To answer your question, it seems like the only way to do that is to create the entire graphic in Premiere. I would need to do research and figure out how to replicate this method in Premiere. Not even sure if its possible.

    • @cmdelavega

      You can always go back into AE, swap the old images/videos with the new ones and re-export the .morgt file.

    thanks is there a way to convert a 2d logo in a spehrical 3d logo

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can extrude a 2D logo by switching the 3D Renderer in Comp Settings to Ray Traced or Cinema 4D. You can also use Element 3D to extrude. Check out the Star Wars tutorial I did or the Create 3D logo with Element 3D.

    Is it possible to add custom images in Premiere Pro?

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really sure if you can. You set it up in AE and export the template so you can switch in Premiere. If you need to add more images or make changes, you can always go back to the AE project, add/modify the images and re-export the template. You may need to re-import template in Premiere to see the changes.

      @@cmdelavega Thanks it is a pity, as most variables can be changed. Anyway I cheated and overlayed my image over my after effects design in premiere. Wouldn't work for every situation, but worked on my current project.

    Can you link the player text to the player layer name so the name automatically changes when the image changes?

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I'm thinking easiest way would be to an expression to do this. Perhaps use a Switch Statement. For example:
      switch(expression) {
      case x:
      // code block
      break;
      case y:
      // code block
      break;
      default:
      // code block
      }
