I think I might know how. She said you can change a graphic mid text, so maybe if you have a normal character bust, then have switch to and back from a character bust with their eyes closed, it might look like they're blinking! I don't know if that will work though.

Galv has an Ace script for this galvs-scripts.com/2012/12/01/message-busts/ I use the settings BUST_Y_OVER = true, TEXT_X = -55, and SLIDE = false. It displays the text to the right of the character, who appears above the textbox. Granted, this looks best because I have resized the graphics with Yanfly Core. I use said settings because I mix both busts and sprite movement, so I didn't want to block out the map with a character bust.

So i know im like way behind but for some reason my bust image wont show up. I can see where my art is supposed to come up but its just blank. Do you have any idea what im doing wrong? There is a new thing added to my Plugin called Filename Appended. It reads this. ADDED: A plugin setting called "Filename Append". Whatever you put in this setting will be added to the end of the filename. Using the above example, if the Filename Append setting is "_bust", then the plugin will use /img/pictures/Actor1_2_bust.png instead. please help oh great one! I love everything you do and you have been such a huge help!
"Remember, all filenames are case sensitive, so make sure to use the correct capitalization/case for your faces and busts. The filename append means, if u write "_bust" there, then apply, it will search for "Face123_1_bust.png" instead of "Face123_1.png" Hope it helps.

I sure someone has covered this somewhere. But I shall ask. I am trying to add custom sprites that I've designed. There 31 by 58 for each frame. My big question is. How the heck do you add them to RPG Maker MV if there larger than the other sprites. I know how to import them. But when I do my sprites are cut off. I am totaly new to RPG maker and have a real passion to design my own game. If you could just help me out I'd greatly Appreciate it. Thank You!!!
What I want is something that allows me to have an animated bust--and not just blinking, or the mouth moving open and closed when the character talks. I want to make my game so that the sprites are 2D, but when you go to talk to someone, their image next to the text becomes animated where the mouth moves to actually look like what's being said in the text...But I haven't seen anything on how to do that...some sort of "display video" instead of image or something?

Hello I have watched this video like 100 times and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I have all my images named after face sets example Meru_1. but I seem to have an issue when my main character talks to one person everything is fine, she talks to another person and I get a type error undefined is not a function? but if I close the game down and load it up I can talk to said person that it didn't allow me to last time, do you happen to know what I did or what I'm not doing to get this error.
Just curious. I wanna have a message box displays the character image above the text box (simular to Suikoden's). Would it be possible to do that with this plugin?

you dont need this you can just use 2 images in your event... IN ANY RPG MAKER ! I remember doing the same tutorial for RPG Maker 2k3
