Have any questions for me about the setup and some of the gear I selected for the WFH office? Drop it below! If you found this one helpful, make sure to drop a like and sub before you go! 👍
I recommend getting the lid for the Ember mug. It helps alleviate the increasingly-concentrated-coffee issue and extends the battery life a lot more than you'd expect. (People tend to underestimate how much energy is involved in evaporation.)
Cable management is such an important part of a clean looking home office setup! We used to have so many cables connecting our monitors, but recently hid and the space looks so much nicer!
How is the walnut / leather wrist rest holding up? Do you think that the smaller 7 inch trackpad wrist rest would make for a good mouse wrist rest? Your video also makes it appear that the wood color differs between the keyboard case and the wrist rest - is this true?
It’s held up really well actually. It’s the kind of thing that you don’t really notice it’s there, in a good way. The wood and leather haven’t required any maintenance. And yes you’re right, the nature of the wood and grains are that they just won’t exactly match as I learned but it hasn’t really bugged me too much.
TBH... These over simple desk/workstation setups for a single computer should be a no-brainer. Not being a hater. It looks nice, but putting something like this together doesn't seem to have required too much planning. I'd love to see someone come up with a clean setup with 3 workstations.
You’re right but I learned from all my research that you don’t know what you don’t know and when I embarked on this journey it took time to figure out what could work for my setup and use case as a content creator. Just giving folks inspiration and new ideas from my corner!
@@GoingAwesomePlaces I get that. I have 3 computers to manage in my setup and then I output all my audio to a receiver with 2:1 configuration. The goal is do a 5:1, but I'm not ready to do any drywall work. I think most folks doing videos like yours have a single computer setup. People should really challenge themselves with complex versions that stress their organization and cable management.
The company can’t reply to emails about orders. You won’t get any part of your order if anything isn’t in stock. The stuff looks great but my experience with this company isn’t good. Most companies don’t charge your credit card until they ship. Not in this company’s case

Amazing tip! I’ve totally been having that issue. Is this an official lid or a generic one?
@@GoingAwesomePlaces Ember sells an official one, which is what I use. It is an extra thing to wash, but worth it IMO.

A lot of great ideas here! Thank you!

@@GoingAwesomePlaces Thanks! I'm thinking about getting the wrist rest of the MX keys and and the trackpad one to use for my mouse.
Please tell me where you buy that storm trooper toys. I have a white & black set up and want to have similar one on my desk. :)
Oh man I got mine so long ago and randomly at one of the markets in London. It didn’t even come with a box or anything!
Grovemade makes such great products, but it's so expensive :(
Yeah I hear yah. The shipping to Canada on top makes it tough to swallow too but their stuff is definitely quality!

Great video!
Is there a cheaper way to order desk mat from Grovemade either from their site that adds 39$ shipping cost to UK ?
Not sure of Amazon is an option for you but my first leather pad was by Londo here: amzn.to/3z0cu17
@@GoingAwesomePlaces yes, unfortunately Amazon don't sell any grovmade products...
@@sergiuvoloc3047 they don’t unfortunately. You’d have to find another brand that ships from the UK I think.
Hi where did you buy your office chair from?
There’s Gotta be a way to bring the price down on these things
