Well, just for information about cancer; this disease is terrible because many times people have it and don't know about it unless something happens and you end up discovering it by accident. Most people discover it when it is already in advanced stage. I discovered I had cancer in a jeep trip. Since it is a hard car and my friend drove it on some lumps and holes on the street, it shook so hard that the carcinoma/tumor dislocated. It was kidney cancer and my appendix was also a tumor. It was such a horrible pain I cannot describe it. And as soon as I came back home I surged for a doctor who immediately asked for medical exams. Operation took 5 house and I lost part of intestine and 1 kidney. No quimotherapy needed cause I discovered soon by accident. Today after 3 years and 500 stitches I'm great. Thanks God. Annual check ups are very importa, specially for those who have a family member with that illness. Cancer is a genetic illness, can pass from father/mother to son/daughter. Be aware.
Don't forget about the Las Vegas wedding special between Zach and Kelly. I was an adolescent girl in the mid 90s. I taped it. Lol. Lots of my friends did. Screech was great in it. He was Zach's best man.
Dustin was interviewed by Mario Lopez and apologized for what he did and came clean. So Dustin and Mario reconciled, and I believe he must have reconciled with the other cast members because they did a tribute segment for Dustin/Screech on the newest Saved by the Bell show.
Dustin was living in an apartment complex in Peoria, Illinois, when he was affiliated with Insurance King. After he died, Mario Lopez was the only SBTB cast member to issue a sincere statement.
@TheBaitShoppe-CrumpTN Dustin diamond had done the rest of the cast dirty by gossiping and making things up about them so they were not the best of friends with him at the time of his passing.
@@edwardsanchez3708 Um...the rest of the cast were dismissive of him BEFORE that book came out. So THEY were the original wrongdoers. Dustin was just paying them back.

Im a Hospice Nurse and have had patients from 6mos old to 107 yeard old and the primary goal is keeping them comfortable but with younger patients they dont want Morphine, Fentanyl or Loraepam which is their right but one thing these drugs do is to make the passing worry free. Thay has always been odd to me. It seems like 95% of older people arent scared of death and are actually wanting it. If you have good social workers or a good bereavement counselor the passing is worry free
You're a hospice nurse, but it never occurred to you that maybe young people aren't as accepting of dying as older people? Seems like common knowledge to me.
Strangely enough the original one that was on Disney called Good Morning Miss Bliss took place in Indiana. Then after that they were all suddenly going to school together in Las Angeles and it was changed to the title Saved by the Bell, I grew up watching them on tv, every Saturday morning and afternoon, up until their college years. This also includes every made for tv movie, including when Leah Remini was a cast member.
The sudden jump in the plot early on from living in and attending public middle school in Indiana and being classmates in SoCal was never explained anywhere once on the show.
Yes great show saved by the bell was on sat. Morning on NBC morning and loved Screech loving Lisa. RIP to you funny guy and Lamonte is right as he should still be here.
I met Dustin Diamond in 2002. He was very kind and funny, but his manager wouldn't leave his side and I found that to be very odd; it was almost as if he was being controlled. He made it very clear that he hated the Screech character.
I just looked it up, he actually passed away on February 1st 2021, the same day I had my Colon Cancer surgery for Stage 3. I had 23 staples starting from the bottom of my chest plate all the way down past my belly button. RIP Dustin. Dustin Diamond also had a older brother Ryan who passed away in 1983 at age 8 of a heart condition. He's mother Jaimee passed away in 1996 of Breast cancer at age 50.
Thank you Lamont for another insightful story on Dustin. It was sad that he thought that after he passed his resting place would be vandalized. Hopefully he found peace. Love and prayer to your readers that shared their personal experiences with cancer and loss. 🙏✝❤
Yes and it would be difficult to be typecast as the goofball, odd nerd and the only one who was not one of the beautiful ones, for lack of other wording. I felt bad for him. I don’t think he was a bad looking guy as an adult. I think he had demons, maybe depression and resentment of not being able to continue working. I hate that he was so depressed in the end. Who wouldn’t be.
@@azdragoon72Yeah he ended up making a bunch of porn and I saw a behind the scenes video of him being disrespectful to some of the adult actresses that he was working with. I think he was actually very misogynistic.
@@brookebenton8192 The misogynism probably was the result of him being rejected by girls so often as a teenager and young man. Sad to say, and doesn't make it right. Just cause and effect.

Great words brother. I have been fortunate to work in music videos, tv shows and live performances with some major players while also struggling in between gigs so I really appreciate what you said.
I worked for Ticketmaster in the early 2000's, Dustin Diamond was trying to do stand up comedy. I remember this specifically because he had two shows for a comedy club in Chicago, and that was the only events ever that I remember did not sell any tickets. Zero
Me and my oldest daughter saw him years ago and had to have been about 15 years ago. It was in Glendale, California we were picking out glasses for my daughter. We bumped into him seem like a very nice guy when someone approached him if he was an actor and he said yes, I am screech. He didn't go by his name Dustin diamond because basically that's how they knew him by his name, but like I said, he seemed like a very nice guy rest in peace.🙏🏼
My dad passed away with the same cancer Dustin had and metastasized to his brain, liver and bones. My dad died two weeks after diagnosis.... Never had a chance to even try chemo. Cancer is so brutal and has taken many souls lately. 😞
Dustin Diamonds real life father guest starred on an episode. It was from the first season when Screech tutors Kelly in science and Zach is jealous so he tells everyone they're getting married. Dustins father plays their science teacher! They even have matching fros!
So sad. I wasn't a Dustin Diamond, fan but it's heartbreaking to hear of a young person, or no matter how old developing this disease. He was only 44. RIP Dustin. God be with you.🪽🌺🕊
You did a great job - this series was beloved from what I’ve heard. Ciao Screech - u did it - u experienced the most frightening thing - passing on would be so scary - recognise the bravery going through it.
He did not smoke. He believed that the cancer was caused by exposure to mold and asbestos in cheap hotels where he stayed while touring as a stand-up comic.
Watching this video made me think about my 2 friends that died one month after another. Makes me cry thinking about them and how they suffered from that evil disease. We keep losing good people to this disease. Wish they could find a cure one day.

😮I'd also read where Christopher Reeve's wife had died of lung cancer, like Dustin, who'd reportedly didn't smoke, either. The suspected reason for her diagnosis, if I remember correctly, was due to the insulation in their home.
I physically met Dustin. Had several drinks with him. I can say, that he was a genuine guy. We met while he was on the road doing stand up. He stopped in a town in Maryland that I was living in. I saw the bump on his neck and it to me looked like Lime disease. He said he just got treated for it. He could’ve been lying. It wasn’t my business. But when you guys mentioned a bump in his neck, I knew exactly what you’re talking about. It’s like losing a friend of mine. Sure I only met him once, but it was truly a tremendous HONOR to shake his hand, to sit at the same table with him, to cheers to our good fortune. RIP Dustin. I hope I get to see ya on the other side. If I could post our pic together on here, I would.
I personally don’t think he really wanted to get back into show business. He saw how shady (putting it mildly), Hollywood is. He just loved making people laugh, even at his own expense.
So very sad RIP Dustin. Diamond💔😢 loved watching Saved By The. Bell I agree with you. Lamont the other two actors characters didn't fit in on the show!!! Thanks for sharing this story
Saved by the Bell knocked it out of the park with beautiful girls. Tiffany Amber Theisen is one of the most beautiful women EVER! Her role in the movie Ladys Man, wow. Elizabeth Berkeley is also a very beautiful woman still getting alot of roles. Larke Vorhees didn't do well after the show.
Yes, that's what struck me when I read about Dustin Diamond-how young he was when he developed and died of lung cancer. His cancer sounded almost identical to that of a former baseball player & Cincinnati Reds manager named Fred Hutchinson. He was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 44, when he went to have a lump looked at medically- that had been on his neck for a while. He lived approximately 11 months from the time he was diagnosed, until he passed away at the age of 45. In Washington the Fred Hutchinson cancer research center was started by his surviving brother who was a physician and wanted to do something to memorialize his brother.
I used to be a laboratory technologist at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. It is now part of a cancer group called, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA): FHCRC, Seattle Children's Hospital and University of Washington Health Center. They do bone marrow and stem cell transplants. Their patients are worldwide. I had the opportunity to meet the first bone marrow transplant success story.
There's a lyric in a song by emcee Celph titled in a song called step correctly that goes "Lickin' shots, speed off, with the perfect timing Yeah, the tires screech, no, it ain't Dustin Diamond" And obviously it's word play but always stood out to me. RIP Dustin
Dustin Diamond, Screech, starred in a series of TV commercials for Insurance King, a Insurance company in the Rockford Illinois area. He was often featured making references to Saved By the Bell with sayings in the commercial like “Saved By the King”.
I met him in Baltimore at a comedy show and he was really nice . He seemed to love the fans because he was talking and interacting with everyone. RIP Dustin ( Screech)
Word around the entertainment industry was that Dustin was difficult to work with. He seemed to be sweet and funny on camera but was said to have a bad attitude. I watched him on the Celebrity Fit show, and his behavior was horrible, yet I've always had a special place in my heart for him because he was our Screech. There was video of him going off and cursing people out for calling him Screech. I was a teenager in the 90's, so I most certainly was hooked on Save By The Bell.

Cancer can be invisible and not show itself till it's too late. I wouldn't wish that I'm going through on anyone. Poor Dustin, I can only imagine what he went through. RIP Screech ❤

I’m so sorry, but I’m glad you’re living your life!🙌 I have several friends in their 30s and early 40s who are living with cancer right now. It’s kind of surreal to have so many close, young friends living like this. It definitely changes perspective on things and makes you live life intentionally, and one day at a time.❤

I never watched the show but it seems he was another child actor that wasn't prepared for life after acting. It breaks my heart to hear that he was afraid and didn't want to die. Forty four years is way too young and cancer sucks!! I watched my sister die from it at 52 and in pain. We need to do better for Cancer patients. RIP Dustin ❤

Thanks for letting us know what happed to Screech.
@LoneRanger-lc1ymYou must not have much of a life, since you’re constantly trolling Dustin Diamond.
Be aware.
Cancer can also be environmental. I have a blood cancer that I'm fairly certain is environmental.
Lamont, I didn’t know this actor had passed. Thank you for this video, and all your compassionate videos, of those who have passed on.
His father screwed Dustin over financial wise. The father put Dustin in his financial ruin leaving Dustin the burden.
That's awful to hear
Dustin was living in an apartment complex in Peoria, Illinois, when he was affiliated with Insurance King. After he died, Mario Lopez was the only SBTB cast member to issue a sincere statement.
How sad 😢
@TheBaitShoppe-CrumpTN Dustin diamond had done the rest of the cast dirty by gossiping and making things up about them so they were not the best of friends with him at the time of his passing.

They had 3 different Saved By the Bell shows. One is about junior high school, second one is about high school, and the third one is about college.
He discussed it plus the original series through Disney
No it was only 2 versions middle and high then they had the college yrs
Strangely enough the original one that was on Disney called Good Morning Miss Bliss took place in Indiana. Then after that they were all suddenly going to school together in Las Angeles and it was changed to the title Saved by the Bell, I grew up watching them on tv, every Saturday morning and afternoon, up until their college years. This also includes every made for tv movie, including when Leah Remini was a cast member.
The sudden jump in the plot early on from living in and attending public middle school in Indiana and being classmates in SoCal was never explained anywhere once on the show.
Did u even watch this? Ur the type to ask is this available on fb marketplace
Great storytelling for this one Lamont! I love the empathy you demonstrated towards Dustin.
I just looked it up, he actually passed away on February 1st 2021, the same day I had my Colon Cancer surgery for Stage 3.
