- DAY 5 traveling through southern Mexico!! Today we are leaving Oaxaca for Puebla, a state about 4 hours north of Oaxaca. Puebla City, the capital of the Mexican state of Puebla, is a beautiful colonial city with a large zocalo and cathedral overlooking the square. 🇲🇽
We go deep exploring Mercado 5 de Mayo, with some of the friendliest vendors I have ever met! This is the market of markets... it's the place to go for ANYTHING - meat, produce, prepared meals... literally anything! This is REAL FOOD done very, very well.
It's a huge market, and a must-see for any visit to Puebla City, ESPECIALLY if you are into food. It's a bit out of the tourist part of the city, but that is always where you find the best markets and food in any city around the world. 😊🌎

I couldn't eat that taco with ease cause it looks like is falling apart, I'll rather eat a much tougher taco so I can bite with force.
Did you like the food in Puebla? It doesn’t really compare to the food in Oaxaca... right?
Loved it!! I think they both have they’re specialties, but Oaxaca is definitely incredible. Anyone traveling to Mexico for good, I’d say go to Oaxaca first 🇲🇽
