So, I went back frame by frame at the launch of you and your staff and it looked like the staff just dropped straight down after you took off. You might want to look around the base of that structure where you had your portal originally. Might still be there so you can save yourself some mats and or eitr grinding. XD

If you meant digging under the wall of the charred fortress - that was patched out with the latest update. But you can still raise the ground - or build a staircase or laddercase
@@Kedvespatikus I meant digging under the wall of the tower inside the fortress. I've never tried it on the outside wall, but did a tower yesterday.. So that still works :)
@@Noortje81 Yep, that works. More interestingly, the central tower will not collapse completely, if you dig under it, only the lowest 4 or so meters of it. The rest will float.
I usually play Valheim while I watch streams. Yours are so hilarious I usually end up pausing my playthrough and just watch the stream. Great job on the no death run!
bring ur outside portal inside and make that your base... disassemble that cadapult and make a ram with the flametal.... the ram is the easiest way to enter a castle... i told you!!! now you can use a shield generator at that castle and built wood up to the top and cover all the spikes... build ur cadapult up there and u can launch urself to the next castle...all gravy from there...

Good to know about the glitch, I was wondering why the heck I couldn't put a piece of wood in the catapult to fire, but could put my staff and why that was even a thing! Epic victory! Skol! 💪 ✅ Sticking close to the vines ✅ Vines + Ice Staff ✅Less panicking, more standing ground and fighting! Keep it up. After more of this you'll even have the head space to notice how the enemies attack and move and use that knowledge to stay out of reach with less effort (and less stamina).

armour does not reduce the damage your barrier takes, or in other words, your loadout is ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT. NEVER wear heavy armor when using the staff of protection, use the asksvin armor or the robes of embla instead.
@MrCubassss I wear heavy armor for protection when the bubble isn't up..I don't think I ever said it increased the bubble absorption. I'm wearing embla pants for the eitr regen. I don't think the hybrid build is terrible, everyone plays different, thanks for sharing yours👊👊✌️
@@Beardzerker TLDR; you are gonna be 2 shot at 121 max health regardless of your armor. that's not even a hybrid build, you are doing full mage with 2 eitr and 1 stamina food which gives you a measly 121maxhp. Armor alone has massively diminishing returns, armor needs maxhp to actually be effective. That means you can realistically tank 1 hit from a charred warrior with your current 106 armor (53dmg), the second hit will probably kill you because you're using blood magic and aren't gonna be at max health with the full food timer. And guess what, the same goes for a full embla set (66dmg) or a full asksvin set(50dmg). Even if you go full flametal armor you will still take 40dmg which will at best give you a slight chance to survive 2 hits.
@MrCubassss ok...ok...I completely see your point now. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to lay it out like that. I will start running minimum 1 hp food with 2 eitr and see how that goes. I honestly love melee a lot more that mage build but I need to farm out some gems for other weapons. Need to rethink my gear strat as well.
