There are two types of permissionless capital in this world.... software and media.
I had a EE degree, but i taught myself to make web apps and i've made a lot of money doing it... can't recommend enough if you're trying to do your own thing... working for someone doing software actually sucks.

I do see it as a great career, especially if you love coding but it is more prone to AI automation and layoffs compared to medicine which tends to be more stable. If you are a good engineer and get into big tech, you can probably make as much as a doctor. In the end, choose what you’re the most interested in.

My biggest concern is all the things on seeing on TH-cam and Tiktok. Everywhere I go I read "the next useless degree" for CS. I love CS and I really dont wanna change my course. Despite all of AI improvements, is CS still worth it?

Planning on making a video on it, but if you really love CS and love to learn new stuff in your free time, I think it’s totally worth it. But if you want to do it for the money, it’s harder to say.
