    Really well done, I cried at the restaurant scene when some memories of the mother appeared, paused it, and when to take a shower. Came back and cried again in the last scene. I don't know why only 8k views, I guess different stories touch different people

    Tearjerker! Kind of the same plot of the Omeleto short about the couple who hiked a mountain to celebrate an event, and then some years later, they climbed the same mountain to celebrate another event that pertains to the first event--They were older and getting on in life, so they had some tough obstacles to overcome. I don't remember the name of it but I think my description is pretty close to their description without being a spoiler!

    So sweet is forgiving love.
    Hollywood should be ashamed. No gems like this these days.

    The opening scene is at the Mormon Rocks in the Antelope Valley in California. Oh and you can't legally camp out there.

    21:36 -- "But one day the woman was called back to the heavens against her will, and forced to leave everyone she loved behind."
    I don't know the constellations hardly at all, but I know that the name of the constellation of a crab is "Cancer." Very clever play on words there.

    Beautiful (and fun) cinema production and performances.

    Loved the little Pokemon reference halfway through! Had to stop the movie and laugh for a few minutes at the pleasant surprise! 😀

    This is like a Disney Channel movie. Why can't this film be longer and a full movie?

    Loved it! Clearly recognised the anime style which made it even cooler. Especially the shot at the end where the daughter sees her mother with the flower petals floating all around them and their hairs flowing in the wind. Very good recreation of a classic anime scene into a live action one.
    Also loved the topic as it really spoke to me. Being the daughter of divorced parents and a broken family, desperately trying to bring everyone together - it's very relatable! The added aspect of the loss of the mother made it that much more heartbreaking. The family members in this movie are all very mean towards the girl. But the movie was beautifully executed! ❤

      @eugenetswong ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is really interesting. I would have never guessed that anime styling was involved. This says to me that they balanced out the film, so that the anime theme was not distracting for those us who are out of the loop.

    • @KarrieDreammind5
      @KarrieDreammind5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@eugenetswong Exactly. It's one of those things that you wouldn't know if you're not accustomed to seeing the style. They've integrated it very well into the live action film. :)

    Why did the mother look like she was 70 years old and her children were no older than 12

    • @DonFahquidmi
      @DonFahquidmi ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay. Really good question. The woman at the end was the grandmother. The mother had died of cancer. It's kinda confusing and it took me a couple of watches to put it together but it was worth it. Hope that helps ☺️

    • @Not_Always

      @@DonFahquidmi im talking about the mother, not the grandmother lol

    • @eugenetswong
      @eugenetswong ปีที่แล้ว

      The mother looked older, because the actress was probably older by coincidence, and because the movie needs to happen. Also, the mother was sick at the end of her life.

    The main direction seems to be: Everybody OVERACT! Trying too hard to be a touching caper comedy...
    Uh... jurisdiction?
    Looks like a pitch to the Hallmark Channel that needs padded out to fit a 90 minute slot (with commercials)...

    • @Not_Always
      @Not_Always ปีที่แล้ว
