Great Smoky Mountains National Park & Beyond [Full Time RV Life]

- We visited North Carolina and Tennessee along our camping journey around the USA and stopped to visit Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We learned some things along the way about camping in the area, visited Clingman's Dome and explored some of the hiking trails in Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
In addition to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, we also camped at a Harvest Host near Asheville which was absolutely breathtaking with a 360 degree view of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. We also hiked to Max Patch which had more phenomenal views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
From North Carolina we drove to Tennessee where we explored the Pigeon Forge area, Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountain National Park before heading down to a town near Chattanooga Tennessee. Here was where we really start showing some of nomad living experiences in the camper as we got stuck in some rain and were stuck inside a lot.
While near Chattanooga, we were able to do some horse back riding down trails where, unfortunately, Tawnie fell off one of the horses and sprained her ankle and knee. The only bright side is that we caught it on video and were able to slow it down and zoom it in to see the full force of the drop.

We loved the Smokies! When we were there we stayed at an Air BNB in Pigeon forge (pre-RV life). The hiking trails were amazing, especially on the Appalachian Trail! We got up to Clingman's Dome too, and what a phenomenal view!

Thank you! We wish we could have done a little more of the hiking but we were short on time. I’ve done sections of the AT in the past and Charles bunion was one of my favorite hikes!
I have always wanted to stay at Harvest Host. Mr. Martini always speaks highly of the Smokies. That is weird that they didn't have any wine to taste.
We love staying at them! And he did actually introduce us to a nice red blend we always look for in the stores now but sadly wasn’t made by him

Really nice landscapes and countrylife out there in North Carolina and Tennessee. It was a very joyable video again, but so painful watching you falling off the horse, especially in slow motion, Tawny. 😮😭 But you are a tough girl and you didn’t let that impress you very much. Hope you are healing well from the fall. We love the Smokies. Went for the first time in 2020 due to COVID. Been back two more times. Last trip we camped in Cases Cove. Only 25 a night. Loved it.

Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are amazing places, eh? There's a channel called PTadventures that does almost daily reviews of the traffic and crowds in those areas... lol It's nuts!!! Hope your injuries heal!!! God bless, guys... Kevin and Kristi Edit: it's actually PT_Adventures86.... oops... :)

Tawnie is a Sagittarius and Wayne is a Scorpio. Tawnie’s rising is Taurus though
