Toronto just a first class organization through and through. The way the treat current players and their family as well ex player like Jose Bautista which the Blue Jays organization did such a amazing job with his tribute. This is coming from a Padres fan. We admire and respect you from afar.
I attended a Blue Jays game last Sunday, Father's Day. I noticed one little boy that was high energy and loves his Father. I had my camera and took some photos of the Family. Turns out the youngster was Kikuchi-san's Son Leo. What a lovely Family, I'm sure they are embraced by Blue Jay Fans. Good luck to the Blue Jays and Kikuchi Family!
Their honesty! That’s the best part of Japanese culture. We accidentally left a backpack full of travel docs for 4 ppl at a McDonalds in Shinjuku. Came back looking for it after more than 1 hour. Still there untouched.
3:49 the body language is strong. They are proud of each other. The silent respect during the other person speaking is part of love. Toronto is the team this family is part of, but the MLB as a whole is fortunate to have them.
Love that Yusei Kikuchi has found his stride with the Blue Jays and with life in Toronto. He is a great asset to the organization! Mr. Kikuchi we are honoured to have you and your family here as part of our Canadian family.
She's a sport reporter? It would be great if she could do Japanese language commentary during a game. I wouldn't understand any of it but it really wouldn't matter.
@@sootchh4055 Can you imagine the stories that she could tell that Yusei, of course would approve of, that could give so much insight into the transition to MLB?! I mean, they and their son have done it. Granted, Toronto must be a nicer transition to MLB than say, Detroit.😁 Kudos on their English too!
Yusei knows he made a hugh mistake signing with tha jays….. and no one knows that better than the wife…. She does not like toto….. and she didnt even have to say it. She wants to stay close to japan
I hope the Jays don't trade him. I love how he rebounded from his 1st year. He seems like a genuine good guy, and he wants to be here.
I’m sorry but my guardians could really use him and we’d love to have him
They traded him to Houston sadly
:(
Always impressed by someone learning a second language and speaking as well as Yusei. His wife is beautiful!
Well grounded family
Thank you for choosing Toronto as your new home. Luv you. Luv your disciplined work ethics.

He’s a genuine nice guy. Never forget he cried in Ichiro’s last game after shaking his hand. Glad that he has a decent career.
Great job Yusei… and you’re a lucky man… beautiful family, and oh my, your wife is a beautiful, intelligent, personable woman!

Welcome to Canada, I wish you the best and I want to visit Japan soon.
Yankee fan here, this was really well done! I hope they find success and a sense of belonging. Great stewardship of the game and their culture.
Japan always got respect from many people

Good-looking fam
Yo, why yusei handsome af tho
I really love to speak Japanese how we learn to play baseball game!⚾
Did Kikuchi get bigger in the offseason, or has he just subscribed to the Robbie Ray School of Uniform Sizing?
Yusei already speaks impeccable English after just 6 years in the states.
I think his wife helped him a lot😂His wife speaks english like americans
Beautiful couple. There's a reason why Asian marriages have the least rates of divorce and contribute the most

She is now "retired" from news and sports reporting, although she may freelance if/when Yusei goes back to Japan.

Don't forget Munenori Kawasaki !
Re-sign an extension!!
Looks like Yussei hit a grand slam hehe
How does a guy built like that throw a ball 98 m.p.h.? Amazing.
6 feet 200lbs is not exactly small either
@@inoribettor I didn't realize he was that tall, but still, a lot of guys throwing that fast are taller, with long limbes and big butts, like Clemens.
Some players just 'have it'. Seemingly effortless power.

Bruh for a moment i thought it was Seiya Suzuki
whotf downvotes this?
why did the Blue Jays trade this guy????
Get ready to learn San Diego Friar buddy. All jokes aside, I hope the padres trade for him, we need starting pitching
Toronto always makes weird moves but please dont screw this one up.
Eu sim
Damn it, Blue Jays!!! Why are you shitting the bed this year?!

Omg what’s it like for your family to move here so you can play… where you get millions of dollars

Beautiful traditional family, wish we had more if this in Canada but you know, our society is a joke.
How is it a joke?
No, it isn't.
thats what you took from this?
@@plrt6794 Broken families are not the foundation for a healthy society.
@@rccyberwarrior2267. Who said they were?
But he be paying that Canada tax
That's nothing to him.
He sleeps 20 hours a day!
He's gone, unfortunately
When did Toronto become safe? HAHA
It's on the safer side, yes, but he more than likely lives in an even safer affluent area. Nothing wrong with that :)
Hey YK, why didn't you worked harder and pitched better like now when you were a Mariners? What a waste!
Toronto's pitching coach helped him simplify his pitching wind up and approach leading to more success. Plus time and experience can be helpful.
Gorgeous wife
Isn’t his wife half American?
ohtani wasn't having any of this. tbh.. i dont know if i like ohtani anymore. He's kind of a sell-out ..
The only thing that will save Canada is by electing Pierre Marcel Poilievre
Blues jays need to trade Alek and kikuchi, they are not consistent
No pitchers are consistent, part of the game.

I love the racist interviewer taling about race non stop
You can talk about race without being racist. Low tier bait.
Guy who clearly missed the big ASIAN HERITAGE MONTH banner at the beginning of the video
@quinhauser9101 when do we celebrate white person month? Woke garbage
sorry this video triggered you so hard pal. maybe try not to be such a fragile little snowflake.
