It's funny how many people think these guys can't speak English lol A lot of them can it's just about comfortability. How many Anglo players for the Montreal Canadiens answer questions or give interviews in French even if (like captain Nick Suzuki) they were in French immersion? lol
Good microphone technique by the lady interviewer.....lots of pleasing space between the top of the micr. and what it's pointed at. Good instincts of her own, and / or her floor director coaches her well on that. Directors and media managers should insist on that before they put the person on camera. Fox and ESPN: get the message ? You should.
Names: Vogelbach ( The electronics instructor, 51 years ago i had, was VOGELSANG ).....interesting to find out What History has to do / reveal about name origins. Another item: Drove alotta taxi for years. One fella was Rogan, another CP engineer, was Goran ! > > >> .....go figger. All last names. Way ta go, Mr. Kikuchi......go ' kick' the other teams. !
Can someone please fire the person at CityTV who is responsible for clips that are to be uploaded to TH-cam? They are consistently poorly done (technically incompetent audio processing, also bad choices for selecting which scenes to show and horrible job editing them together). There are countless folks available who can do a far better job than this in their sleep.
Ummm, when did he do the "hilarious interview"? This isn't it, unless there's a new definition of "hilarious"......Well, that's 3:19 minutes of my life I'll never get back.....
There are a LARGE number of EASY ways to clean up and improve the quality of the audio track. In its present condition it gives the viewer the impression that CityNews has no grasp of basic editorial techniques. Meanwhile, where's the "hilarious" part? 何これ?ばかじゃない、ね。
CityNews has its own definition of "hilarious."
Glad I'm not the only one that feels the same...
😂
Almost seems r*c*st to say that's hilarious. Is his accent the thing that's "hilarious"?
Protect this man at all costs
Protect him from what??? 🤔
@@bunbee2025 His teammates who never read a book.
Are you new to the internet? @@bunbee2025
They brought the 'Home Run' jacket back. YAY! Go Jays! ❤🇨🇦⚾
Appropriate that they have an expert in all things 'bobble head' do the interview - tangible talent.
Your audio is on the right channel only
Nope I'm deaf in my left ear.
loved that - team sport is more than just sport
Vogelbach is the Chris Farley of MLB
His batting has been just about as comical as Farley
"Down by the River"
When does the hilarious interview start?
He doesn't need a 16 million dollars translator
菊池選手、英語ききとってますねー。すごい。
割と早口なのにな
I loved his 'Ukulele'. That's a tough one for most and especially for Japanese people. He's musical. I rewound it a couple of times🙃

Thank you Yusei ❤

Mets legend Daniel vogelbach aka Chris Farley
Incredible Kuch he could do interview without a translator, likely saves him a lot of hard-earned money lol.
He's an Anime protagonist.
PLEASE fix the audio 😓
英語上手だなあ😊
something wrong with the audio?
Always
interview muted...
Japanese have a tendency to be funny in interviews when they try to speak english
Although in Yusei's case his is actually pretty good
A lot better than Ben Bankas impressions of Teresa Tam, he spoke very clearly
Kawasaki was the best. That guy was hilarious! Miss him for the vibes.
His English is greatly improved
English is my second language too. It is not easy to learn. Give him credits.
Sporadically humorous.

❤❤
Hilarious? Did I miss something? It seemed like a normal interview to me.
What was hilarious? That he's not a native speaker? He gave a very earnest interview.
I enjoyed him saying none of his teammates would read a book
The Kuch!
We need to get Kawasaki in to do some more interviews as the interviewer.
wow he speaks english
THE GOOAAATT
I was expecting a Kawasaki-like hilarious interview. Not even close.
The sound is soo bad :(
KAKOOOOOOOOCH!!!
My right ear found this hilarious
Wow I happened to only have one bud in and didn't notice 😂
What is cootchie, me not understand?

I really don't get that they continue to post videos of such poor audio quality for the longest time now.
Audio = panning lol…

I'm glad he's praying the saxophone.
the very definition of clickbait

Nobody reads a book but me is telling about our culture
Just cramp
Nothing “hilarious” in his interview at all, except his inability to say L’s.
I'm thinking ukelele must be one of the hardest words for a Japanese person to say. Good luck to him.
Suki yaki
Confused what was so funny
なんで右しか音出ないの? 素人じゃないよね? 耳が不快で内容が入ってこない
What is funny?
not funny
