I know gen 6 isn't the greatest generation ever, but it has a ton of nostalgia for me. Must have beaten this game 20 times when I was in grade school. Thank you for this remake. Remember when everyone was speculating about there being a third game named Z :)
I love how after a while the games become so nostalgic that we think back and go, "that game was not all bad"; the same feeling of Pokemon White and Black from a while back. I love hearing this remaster of the Kalos trainer battle theme. It feels more in line with the games, in my opinion. It is a bit more muted and all the background instruments are enhanced (also the connection to the gym battle theme in the more electronic parts). Thank you, Zame! Keep up the amazing work!

I still think X and Y are lesser titles in the series, but that doesn't mean they are bad, not even close.

I remember queueing up outside my local Game for a copy, only to end up getting in a flap at the till cause my Mam's card wasn't working (it was an early birthday present, and I was 10 at the time, so there were tears at the till 😂). God, where the hell did the last 10 years go? X/Y will always have a special place in my heart, specifically Pokémon Y, as it was the first Pokémon title I (technically) bought myself and the first game I found a Shiny in, too (It was a Mareep in a horde). Love this remaster ❤️

X and Y has lots of redeeming factors, the games are not amazing but are not crap either like sword and shield, lgpe or legends, and this music is amazing. I mean x and y you fix the dificulty and level curves, you fix the story and becomes a pretty solid game, couse the map design is pretty good, although the map design has a couple of issues, the largest distance to a gym is from the first gym to the second, and there are some unfinished places like the power plant that should have been completed, but it has well designed caves and routes, most citys look beautiful and npcs have tons of amazing dialogues and easter eggs. Thats why pokemon z should have existed, x and y is like dp, but x and y didnt have pokemon z while dp had platinum.
@@codename618 Well, the game is a dissaster, is a tech demo with very badly designed world, a game that should have been lore heavy and the lore is awaful, the game is full of cutscenes that are black screens, nothing is animated, the battle system is broken, the only town is crap with not moving npcs, mostly not changing dialogue and npc locations during the game, and most quest are so generic, broken level curve broken difficulty curve which is standard since x and y in pokemon, broken battle system, broken acanine boss, the game is super easy except for 1 broken match (mr cyntia male) that is almost the same crap level curve ultrasun had, not as bad couse you dont have to fight it to progress, so much text to say nothing, copying all the cutscenes of professor eating every time you return to the town, unused rival, bad linear caves and a very very big issue, why the hell in the main campaign you have to return to the town everytime for them to say nothing and make you lose time?, it ruins the pacing of the game. There are so many issues that i dont remember couse its over a year, but i will give you this, the catching is the only decently polished thing, i read the whole dialogue couse i thought the story would get good but it didnt. And for people not to say the game has no postgame they made the scam of rolling the credits after defeating dialga and palkia not after defeating giratina which is when the story ends, the postgame is really catching to fight arceus. I am sorry for such a long text but this game got on my nerves couse i spected so much, which i shouldnt have after so much dissapointment that they dont make a masterpiece since black 2 and white 2. Funnily enough the lore in scarlet was much better than the game it was supossed to have a very profound lore, some good things, the sky looks beautiful in legends and some pokemon interactions and animations in the overworld are really good, sv has a much better overworld although it has many issues too, at least is a finalized idea and i dont think is that bad.

PLA is not as bad as swsh, lgpe and specially bdsp the worst mainline pokemon game of all time imo, you cant make a worse remake of one of the most loved gens. Is such a pity that pokemon games release so unfinished couse all of them except bdsp have potential to be very good, but they wont delay them, they sell 20 millions anyway why delay to make a very good game?
