Same. I hated Trump during his first presidency... I had my waking up from the mind virus during the Biden presidency(Imo). Between looking back at what the lies were and the facts, seeing the rampant hypocrisy and double standards of the Far Left on Full display, etc... Makes me realize how out of touch I was.
I'm still a very secular person in Texas, part of what pushed me to the Left was my Extremely Right-wing family members who would hate me if they knew... Also Bush starting a forever war in the Middle East during my childhood didn't help. Though now I know it was Warhawk Cheney probably whispering in his ear...
I see human lives as precious things. I don't know if there's an afterlife. So every waking minute every person has is precious and irreplaceable. Anyone who Deliberately causes others to suffer or die, is a Sinner against the sanctity of life. And deserves all the bad karma in the world until they see the error of their ways.
I'm a white bisexual male. My sexuality isn't "pure" enough for the left and my skin is a sin. Therefore I came to realize through their actions that they despised me. Someone who considered himself a humanitarian and ally... I'm SO glad that these asshats invaded pop culture and social media. Otherwise I'd probably still be living the lie. Not knowing how bitter, disgusting, and depraved most of these people are.
Good to see people woke up Before Big Sister took over and made the country go Full Orwellian.

As a Nordic person the "black Ariel" bothered me because the original story of the little mermaid is Danish written by a Danish author called H. C. Andersen in 1836 and I would guess about 99,9% of Americans have no idea that the story is acutally not Disney's and it is not American either. If they had a Nigerian story written by a Nigerian author (when most likely all of the characters would be "black") everyone in US would be screaming out loud if Disney made their version of it and suddenly changed the main characters "white".

A large portion of the US knows that The Little Mermaid is Danish and is not originally Disney's story. We know full well that Disney takes old stories and retell them for a modern audience. Many of us grew up reading the originals.
EDIT: Let me clarify, the majority of Americans still don't know this, but they definitely don't make up 99.9% of us. People in these comments are acting like I insulted their mother or something. Crazy.

    • @lanefunai4714

Well, see, you are supposed to focus on a point on the wall and just take it. They want equity, not equality. The Democrats of the US have rejected their old ways. They used to judge people by the color of their skin, but now. . . . .wait. I mean, they used to deny free speech, but now. . . . hold on. The Democrats of the past used the "war weapons" trick to deny the right to bear arms, but now they. . . .well, whatever, they switched and are totally different now.

"Emotionally extorting people" is such an incredibly clarifying observation and statement.
There is an old saying "The devil's favorite tool is envy." And we live in a world where some folks have mastered the art of HARVESTING other people's emotion and in particular the emotion of envy. It's a multi-million dollar industry.
Consider the most powerful emotions of humans. At the forefront are; envy, anger, and fear. These are also the emotions that are easiest to activate in people. "Are you gonna take that from him?!"
I had a boss (and business owner) that enjoyed creating chaos and confusion among the crew so he could more easily control everyone. At the time, I just thought he was enjoying his own personal hobby. I never realized it was a common strategy to pit people against each other - to control them. But after considering this into my adulthood the phrase "divide and conquer" popped back into my head.

I came across an interview Trump did in 1980 or so (it's on YT), when he was a baby-faced 34 years old, talking about how he would dedicate his life to his country, how sad it is that no good men are in politics, how no good men want to be in politics, and now, in the last decades of his life, this is what he's doing, making America great again. He's been consistent with his good values and ideals, and I'm sorry I ever trusted the MSM saying he's trash. I should have known better.

Same. I believed the propaganda and lies from mainstream news networks like CNN who made me think Trump is a bad guy, racist, made the country worse during his presidency, etc. and was happy when he "lost" to Biden in 2020. About 2 years ago I woke up and rejected the woke mind virus, especially when it came to stuff like entertainment and Hollywood, and then proceeded to go down the best rabbithole of discovering politics and especially conservative media personalities like Ben Shapiro, and I became super happy that I finally woke up but also super angry at realizing how I've been lied to for years, and especially when it comes to things like history and how the mainstream media weaves certain narratives about the news and what they want you to think. After doing my own research and further discovering the countless awful, disgusting, and evil things that the democratic party and leftists support, I can pretty much guarantee that I will forever be a conservative and Republican until I get some solid evidence/reasons for why I shouldn't be. I am now a huge MAGA Trump supporter, and I voted for the first time ever in this 2024 election. I'm so happy and looking forward to America and the entire world proceeding to heal and for things to get better again. God Bless everyone! Thank you to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! ✝❤

Nothing may be greater than the State. Any loyalty to something other than the State is treason. You can say it is Demons, Marxists, or the 100 families, but it ireal.

I was a hard-line atheist and dyed in the wool leftist for my entire life until I remember thinking I should improve my arguments about my beliefs, so I started with abortion and how I could defend it to a pro life person. Turns out the more I actually spent time really considering the topic, the less defensible my position really seemed. Turned out I hadn't really thought it through at all and was just holding these opinions because I thought that's what a smart, contemporary, sophisticated person has to think... Because I was programmed that way by media and government schools. 2:26 Most people are generally intelligent enough to be able to reach a reasonable conclusion based on the information they have. Propaganda works by curating the available information so that your target arrives at the conclusion you want them to.
That work can be undone should the target come across new information, so other sources of information must be "tainted" to prevent the target from incorporating it.
The lesson is: if someone seeks to give you a restricted view of the available information, and attempts to prevent you from considering additional sources of information (especially opposing views), you're being propagandized.

I live in Orlando and have my whole life. I’ve been telling people that Disney was evil since the late 90s, but everyone called me crazy. I didn’t really have any evidence then it was just a feeling I got when I was near the park and I’m not psychic. At least not that I know of….. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They built a Stepford Housewife like entire neighborhood too as a long term community experiment with its own closed off systems and social sphere (I forgot the name). Idk if it has anything to do with Epcot though and Epcot is another thing altogether.

That's the Holy Spirit communicating with you. Yes Disney is pure evil, they even have a D33 club for freemasonry. They have tunnel systems for trafficking children that get kidnapped at the park. It's just absolute pure evil going on that's tearing peiole a part. This is the exact reason why I separated myself from the ways of the world. It is pure evil running rampant.

I lived in Tampa for a while around 2000. I was told by people I got to know "Don't underestimate the power of the mouse", this was in reference to things I observed that really shouldn't have been in place. At the time the politicians couldn't take on Disney. So glad that Desantis has and continues to take them on.

Now it is very easy to spot. Disney as an exchange quoted company naturally has to make profits and pay dividends.
But slashing the printer shops, many of the human cashier and trying to introduce virtual boarding qeues to pay for (additionally to inflated prices) that the today's Disney doesn't care about communities or employment at all. 🤔

My big "Wake up" moment was when a formerly beloved goofy kind of celebrity suddenly and overnight became the most "Dangerous and Evil" man in the world. One day a sort of goofy billionaire Celebrity, the very next morning he was Hitler and Satan merged into one somehow. And millions of people believe it simply because their TVGod tells them to.

I've always voted Republican, but that moment you speak of was the moment I realized the "conspiry-theorists" on the right were correct: that the Democrats AND the Dem media would label any Republican racist, sexist, bigot, hater, fascist. I'd heard that said, and I'd seen some evidence of a pattern (finding some woman to accuse an (R) candidate of gross improprieties within about 4 weeks of election day). But when they said all the things about Trump -- after happily accepting his donations and endoresements for decades, and after fawning over his TV show and being so thrilled to attend each others' parties.... That's when I KNEW that they were lying.

You can deny the call to war, up until the point that it comes to tear down your door and rip you from this world.
Then, it matters not if you wish for it, because it is a dire reality that you can no longer hide your head in the sand from, in the vain hope to protect yourself from it.
I've hidden myself away from it for years, hoping it would just go away or that I would just give up and wish the world the best of luck, as I was leaving it, shirking my responsibility to it in the process.
This year I voted for the first time, in order to do something real and courageous to protect not only myself, but everybody else.
Here's to the Trump/Vance Administration and the hope for a brighter future.

When I first got out on my own, the first vote I ever cast was for Bush, because my parents were conservative and even though I hated them, I couldn't relate to the other guy. That burned me so badly that I voted straight Dem until 2016 and never questioned any of it. Then trump came along and I'll be blunt, I couldn't stand him. But I found hillary repugnant and I refused to vote. I then spent two years utterly pissed about trump. Then The Blm riots happened, then I started noticing the endless lies about the man and thought (If he is so bad, why is everything they say about him so easily refuted?). Then Covid hit and the blinders were ripped off. Even if that hadn't done it, the J6 nonsense would have because I watched multiple live streams that day with my own eyes and what they reported and what my eyes showed me were very different. That was just the beginning of the democrat party doing things that made them radioactive as far as I was concerned. I could list so many other things that have transpired in just the last 4 years alone, much less the past 10. At this point anyone who aligns with democrats is utterly unelectable as far as I am concerned. Until there is a massive purge of the party, I will never vote dem again. Don't get me wrong, there are still a mountain of problems with the GOP and a whole lot of them that need to be removed as well, but they aren't an existential threat to the country unlike the insanity that has taken over the DNC.

Yes! I felt so bad for Halle for Disney putting her in that position. Another mermaid princess movie would have been awesome! We are dying for new stories. But no they had to “ modernize “ it .
Live action Beauty and the Beast did Belle dirty too. Changed her whole personality from a kind and nerdy dreamer into an insufferable girl boss feminist.
Or live action Jasmine, who was looking for love and adventure originally but they changed her into, the “ I am automatically the best at everything I do without trying and I am going to break the patriarchy and be a leader”
I am all for strong female characters but I hate getting their message shoved down my throat. Disney is lame.
