Since DTR took over for Winston, he's had 22 drives. 4 of those were INTs, a few fumbles lost, and two drives where we scored a TD and a FG. Of course we cut Tyler Huntley and kept DTR. Huntley balled out. DTR will be out of the league. No one wants that dude. This organization continues to disappoint on every level!

The NFL really could benefit from a developmental league, maybe they should partner with the UFL to become a developmental league for the NFL and each NFL team should have a UFL team as a farm team to develop players. If that ever happens, you could take chances on late round Quarterbacks and Receivers to develop them, and don't bring them up until they demonstrate skills that are transferable to the NFL.

Baker has 4300 passing yards, over 300 rushing yards this year with 42 total tds ( mike Evans has 900 yards 11 tds) so even if you take away ALL of mike Evans stats baker would still rank in the top 5 in yards and tds this year. As far as Watson goes the optics are terrible no matter what. Either he’s your second or third string quarterback and you have 100 million on the bench. Or he plays and then you can actually see him. Either way it’s really bad. But he might give us the best chance to lose and so help the team get the top draft picks the following year. I just wish I could never hear his name again.

No you trade for a cheap veteran for 2025 that won’t embarrass the team! You take your high pick and if you can’t get the Heisman trophy winner trade it and get several picks for this year and next. Next year you trade the picks you got and your first rounder to someone to move up in the class. A lot more QBs next year that are good.

Since 1999 there have several loser Browns owners, lots of loser coaches and loser GM's to the point I doubt the Browns can recover especially with this latest clown owner, Haslam. Baker has 4300 passing yards, over 300 rushing yards this year with 42 total tds ( mike Evans has 900 yards 11 tds) so even if you take away ALL of mike Evans stats baker would still rank in the top 5 in yards and tds this year. Baker is a good quarterback but when he was in Cleveland he was immature and undisciplined. And the Clemens browns organization was not mature enough to develop him. If he stayed in Cleveland I don’t think he’d be as good as he is now. He was never the “adult in the room” but the browns didn’t have an adult on the team to mentor him.

In 2025, Baker is #2 in TDs, #2 in yards, #1 or #2 in completion percentage. He scored more TDs in the Carolina game than Watson scored in 2025. The key next step is that the coaching and management staffs have such little understanding of potential and talent evaluation that they couldn’t guide Baker and grow him into an adult in Cleveland vs giving up on him for an accused sexual predator tbh at hasn’t played for a couple of years. I believe the entire staff should be fired to ensure better talent evaluation and development going forward.

Personally I would consider signing Justin fields at QB in the off season and give him the year, upgrade left tackle in free agency, draft the Michigan defense tackle or Abdul Carter in 1st round, then trade back into the first round and draft the best available safety(Georgia’s) safety, use 2nd round pick to draft the best available running. We need another linebacker as well(Iowa MLB, preferably).
