    Thank you so much for this video. I have watched many for Xanthomalasma and they all use products that are totally out of my price range. It is so wonderful to know that there are products out there to help us people on a budget who desperately want to look good too, and NO FALSE EYELASHES - yeah. I have taken to photoshopping the brown out of photos, and I don't go out much because I am so self-conscious.

    My melasma looks like the butterfly rash. Covering 80% of my face. Literally have 2 straight lines going up between my eyes😊❤🙏

    Thanks for the video. Just curious...do you share that you have melasma with your circle of friends? I have not shared with many in my circle and I wonder if I should. Sometimes I think others are wondering why I always wear a visor when outdoors. I often feel self concious that my melasma is showing (stache) and probably give that vibe. Anyway, just curious. Thanks!

      I completely understand what you are saying. My close friends know, as well as my immediate family. It's no secret and they are all familiar with my hats, masks, UPF umbrella, sunscreens, and shade seeking efforts when outdoors and even in the car. Most tell me that they don't even notice it and would not have noticed if I did not point it out. I'm definitely more relaxed around my circle who know and can be a little more light hearted about it all. And it totally helps that I have become pretty good at concealing with makeup. I too have the stache and I just hope people notice my smile and not the area above my upper lip 😉

    You are stunning! What color is the concealer, the one in amazon cart looks darker than the one in video?

    • @investinyourface
      @investinyourface  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The concealer color I use is Medium Peach. The color may not be available from Amazon. If you do not see the color you are looking for, check out the elf website for all the shades/colors available for their products. Thanks!

      The elf cosmetics website offers a great way to choose the right color for you by selecting the closest to your skin shade and skin undertone. Go to the product and click on your shade and undertone, and this will narrow down the color for you. Hope this helps

    Hi
    Nice video 🙌
    I was wondering do you recommend any type of setting powder with spf and mineral sunscreen?

    • @investinyourface
      @investinyourface  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Check out the Jane Iredale products. I like their powders. Both the Amazing Matte Loose Finish Powder and PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation SPF 20/15. For reference, I use the shade Amber. Hope this helps!

    Wish my malasma is as light as yours, am not a make up person, but now I can't stand seeing my face with such very dark patches that I cover up with make even when at home.

      Linda, trust me I have been there and know what you mean. I encourage you to have your skin evaluated by a board certified dermatologist and discuss your options. Patience and diligence with any treatment, along with the ways to avoid flare-ups, are key. You will experience fading. And any amount is a win. Hang in there

    Sorry but the melasma is still showing.

      Covering up stubborn melasma patches is challenging. Drug store brand makeup is not the solution for everyone. Other makeup brand suggestions for full coverage that I recommend are Kristofer Buckle and KatVonD, and I really like Shiseido Spotscover. I have not tried, but have read good things about Dermablend. Hope this helps. Thanks for sharing.
