Yes thank you so much you're the first person that I have found that can relate to my struggles with my hyperpigmentation and the contrast between the colors for myself is very extreme. I absolutely love you for being so brave. I found something that has changed my life I think for the cost maybe slightly more of what you spent on all these different foundations you could get them it's a product by Mesoestetics call Cosmelan depigmentation peel. You get real life results almost as if you had makeup on by the time we're done. It's a series of two times you do it and do the first one and wait two weeks into another one if I had the strength that you have I would put before and after pictures that but the only way I can explain it it's like close to when you put the door on it takes almost everything away it's something that you have to do yearly right but I never spent $700 better. Same here. I’ve been very depressed about this really bad melasma which got even worse after being treated by a dermatologist with a very expensive procedure. Thank you Pearl for this video. I’ve been battling with hyperpigmentation for years now and I know it’s not very simple to cover it, I’ve tried hundreds of products, always on “the search” for the product that will perform well without leaving a cakey look. My best products so far have been the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, Estée Lauder Perfectionist foundation and the Kevin Aucoin Skin Enhancer concealer in #9, it’s a very powerful pigment that you only need a size of a rice to cover the dark spots, I put a dot of foundation in the back of my hand and mix with the concealer ( a rice size) most people don’t know how to use this concealer, just a tiny bit does the job. And to finish my makeup I use the Laura Geller Baked Balance and Brighten Foundation to even everything out and last step my Hourglass ambient lighting edit palette. I find these products amazing that I don’t look for anything else.🥰
that's a great idea. i'm going to look for this kevin aucoin skin enhancer concealer. it sounds familiar to me, but i've never tried it. thanks for your advice, i really appreciate it!

Double Wear
Maximum Cover Camouflage Foundation for Face and Body SPF 15
Please try this. No need for concealer. I have tried color correcting, full coverage foundation of all brands to cover melasma. Having to wear a face mask doesn’t help since makeup rubs off.
How do you set your makeup up? My makeup doesn't stay put. By midday, my melasma patches are fully exposed. Please reply 🙏
Thanks so much for the great video!
Can you please list the name of those foundations.

Lately my hyperpigmentation grows over my face more and more. Thank you for this video. Unfortunately i cannot find the Dior product because they use different names i guess.
Is it also for your body. I found one for face and body.
You have some great foundations there, but I have found Seint cosmetics and it's brilliant for this...yes, a different approach but gorgeous

Hi Pear! New subscriber here. I can see why this is your most pop vid. I’m Greek/Japanese also w/hyperpigmentation. And weirdly w/neutral/rosy undertones. This vid is SO HELPFUL. Ty. Hope you see my question; do you recommend one for more mature skin? I’m 57…no, wait - 58. Altho ty to my Japanese mother, no one believes that. But I do have wrinkles. Hoping the Dior &/or the Nars do not settle (badly) into those. Tx again, Pearl & can’t wait to watch more of your channel!
