I've never seen another youtube channel with such a strong focus on Indian culture. They're also curious about why we celebrate Holi. It's great to have someone like them around.
It feels so great when people from another country are curious to know about other cultures! Like we Indians are crazy over Koreans but nowadays I'm also seeing lot's of Koreans are interested in India too! It not Krishna but Vishnu as NARASIMHA as JWALA NARASIMHA , saved Prahalad from his demoness aunt Holika who tried to kill him on orders of his demon king father Hiranyakashipu. THEN krishna celebrated holi with his friends radha, gopikas, Balrama, gopis of Gokul, Vrindavan and Braj mandal.
Lemme clear the story behind Holi a bit.... So Prahlad wasn't Lord Vishnu... He was a devotee of Lord Vishnu, and his father didn't like this. So he tried to stop him first but he didn't listen, so he tried various ways of finishing him, and one of those many ways was making the father's sister, named Holika, sit on a pyre with prahlad on her lap (she was given a boon that she'll be immune to fire and heat, provided she doesn't do anything bad. Holika missed the condition🤡) So when Holika sat on the pyre with Prahlad, her boon became undone and she got burned and died, while Prahlad was safe thanks to the grace of Lord Vishnu. The original name of this Festival is "Holika Dahan" which literally means the burning of Holika. This color play is done on the next day of Holika Dahan.
