I know there is an overwhelming sadness seeing all the damage and lost businesses and homes but just seeing those live critters and dolphins breathes a bit of hope into the picture. The beaches will come back...different but the beach changes every day anyway. Thank you for bringing us all along. ♥

Absolutely! All of the buildings can be re-built, but the wildlife truly was wonderful to see! Thanks for watching!

Thank you for sharing. I used to spend a lot of time there. My parents had a place across the bridge when they were alive. It sure breaks my heart to see it now. But I know that they will come back strong as well as Sanibel! Stay strong Laura, love you and your videos ❣️

Absolutely! They will rebuild stronger! It will be different, but it will once again be a wonderful paradise! It will just take some time. Thanks for watching, Kathy!

On a recent boat tour with one of the commercial groups we were able to shell on one of the islands. Seeing the wildlife, live shells and resilience of residents was definitely inspiring. With good conservation and positive attitudes, Floridian residents will bounce back.

You sound like you have a cold! I would give anything to be able to help with the clean up. Did it twice on Edisto Island. It's devastating. But as hard as our island was hit it came back to life. You guys got it so much worse but although it may never quite be the same, it will come back. It takes a long time. It took almost a year to get to some places on Edisto. My heart feels for you but it is still beautiful to me. I think of you and the islands every day.😍💖 Love and Hugs

Thank you so much for this update; I really appreciate it. If I could ask a favor for your subsequent videos; if possible could you pan a little more slowly? It makes it easier to see what you’re seeing and doesn’t make my head spin. I don’t know why, but when videographers pan quickly, I have to shut my eyes or look away so I my head doesn’t feel funny. Maybe that’s just me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks for watching! I will say I have filmed hundreds of hours of virtual shelling - it's literally back breaking, and very hard to film "slowly". What feels like a turtle crawl can still be too fast. I do the best I can (I'm not National Geographic with fancy camera equipment, it's just me and my cell phone lol) so I do try my best between the wind, and my no-longer-young body trying to crouch down and pan slowly! I do try my best and I do remind myself to try and slow down while I'm filming. Thanks for your feedback, it is always appreciated! ♥

@@virtualshelling Wow, having never done what your job, I have a new appreciation for how hard it is. Thank you for explaining. I’ll just close my eyes and peek now and then, haha. Thanks again.

Life is about change. My own life has changed 100% in the last 7 months. Nothing in my life is the same except the car I drive. But sometimes things fall apart so better things can fall into place, I truly believe that. ♥

Change can be hard but help us to grow and appreciate all that we have each day. I think about you often and if I get back to Florida will see if we can’t take an adventure together. Keep up the good work.
