    Great movie, Robert De Niro can play a mob guy like Goodfellas and Casino, but I tell you I was really impressed that De Niro can play the opposite role just as well portraying a legit honest man against the mob! Great actor, I guess he wanted out of that life and became a bus driver!

      A clever alternative to the "door test" is the "hair test or face test", nowadays car doors are automatic so what you do is take her out to dinner at a restaurant. Tell her you have to use the restroom. Purposely put a small piece of paper towel in your beard, mustache, or hair. If she laughs at you WITHOUT telling you the RIGHT reason or says nothing at all, "dump her and dump her fast!"- Sonny.

    Being feared never lasts, because people are always striving to overcome and conquer fear. So you can control people with fear for a while, but you have to trust that they're plotting to put an end to your control. But if people love you, they're not plotting against you, because they care about you. Love wins every time.

    • @racialconsciousness6996
      @racialconsciousness6996 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Dread Man -- You didn't pay attention to a single thing Michael said. The question is simple: Who would you rather surround yourself with, people who love you or people who fear you? The answer is very simple. People in your immediate circle, the ones who have the most immediate access to you, are not going to hurt you if they love you. But if they fear you, they might just take a shot at you or throw you under the bus when it benefits them.

Every one of your videos contains a certain meaning, whether it’s business related or life related.

      The guy who asked for more was a greedy fool. Then again Franzese told an even worse story about how "Fat Tony" Salerno fleeced him of even more money. And Salerno was already rich being the boss of the Genovese family. Usually a successful CEO of a middle size company makes that much money. And that was taxfree money. With that much cash it would be possible to invest in other business and just live of the incomes of them.

Oh and the cop was the victim, I think that he was trying to stop a home invasion or possibly a murder. Don't tell me that if a cop saw someone breaking into your home, then did nothing or maybe waited until backup arrived, you would be happy with that ? What if you were assaulted or killed while he was being super careful of himself ?? How would your family feel when he testifies in court ? This was before automatic locks. So on one date I did just that. The date asked me “you ever see Bronx Tale”? I said “no, why?” he said “oh it’s nothing.” I headed to the video store the next day (ha told ya awhile back) and rented the VHS. It jumpstarted my interest in mob movies and history. I did call the date back to say “I saw the movie and no I’m not that slick, just something my grandfather told me was proper to do”. Great movie and I agree a lot of lessons to be learned.
