Ogni volta che suono questo brano mi sento fluttuare nell'aria, e ad ogni nota provo una sensazione di purificazione, accompagnata da un' incessante quiete, fino alla fine.
E' una delle mie ultime composizioni, e rispecchia fortemente la mia formazione accademica: ogni nota è al suo posto, accuratamente posizionata ed incastrata con quelle vicine.
NULLA è casuale, in nessun punto del brano, potrei risuonarlo decine di volte ed ogni armonico si troverebbe nell'esatto posto udibile in questa registrazione.

I've listened to this over and over and never get tired of it. Its an exquisite composition with complex playing. Id love to learn this piece but I'm years away.

Awesome! I got frustrated the first year I had my steel but then I fell into playing it briefly here and there. Now the thing is like magic and I love it!!
well i had a hang when they were still a novelty maybe 25 years ago.. loved it recorded it..
then suddenly they were the craze and everywhere and played badly and i couldn't stand the sight of them for a long time.. this however has restored my faith.. so refreshing to hear such a beautiful instrument in such skilled hands.. really stunning./. thank you.. why only 1.28k subscribers...? is the world mad...?

This is so beautiful. It is my favorite of all the You Tube videos of songs on the Rav. It reaches into my soul and calms me. Like others it is the reason I just ordered a Rav Vast. I'm guessing I'll spend the next year trying to transpose it into sheet music so I can learn to play it. The prime notes in the first part seem to be: D4, A#3, D#3, D3, G3 C3. At 1:25 the second part is something like: A#3/D#3, D4, G3, D4. C4, A#3, C4, D4 D3/D4, D4, C4, D4. F4, D4, C4, A#3, G3, F4. Am I close? Can I buy your music as audio file so I can listen from my phone without watching You Tube?

Did you add a hi-hat/shaker loop on top? You don't seem to do anything with your hands to make this percussion type sound so there's obviously a loop somewhere.

I didn't add anything above, what I hear is just the rustling of the quality of the microphone.

The only sounds I hear are those of the notes of the Rav (and of the snare), others of the background rustling of the microphone! Did you hear the other version? The audio is better
@@DanieleRebaudo the audio here is actually nearly perfect (especially when listening with good quality headphones). I've learned your song by watching this video (but it will take a lot of practice to master your level, ha-ha!). The newer video has clearer sound but it has some DSP in certain parts which makes it interesting to listen to but makes learning the song harder as it's not the exact sound that the RAV Vast G Pygmy produces. Thank you for creating and sharing this masterpiece!
@Apotheoz I'm playing some parts of this song well now-learned by listening and watching to this video. There are no sounds produced that you cannot see in the video. I guess you're probably referring to that slap sound that Daniele makes with his right hand on the right side of the A#3 note.
You are doing well with your English. It would be helpful to know patterns. Give yourself more credit!
