In all honesty, mini PCs are practically full-size PCs shrunk to something as small as an Apple TV or a USB stick. Doing this really just makes the thermals extremely terrible and is expected to overheat. Also, a laptop and a mini-PC have almost nothing alike.

Sorry to say but he also got the intel NUC a bit wrong as well at least he tried, he forgot to mention the 8 gen had the fastest internal GPU to date the iris plus 655 and the i5 and i7 can demolish the intel 9300H and get really close to the intel 8750H in benchmarks. The i5 8259u is also a 28w cpu with zero throtling, although not unlocked Intels tuning app does indeed work I use an extra 10w on both some even use 20w on clock and turbo which gets it past the i7 stock version=very fast indeed. It runs cool is at least 100% faster than my 1030 G4 @8265u and with a new ADATA 256gb sx8200 pro ssd and 2x4gb hyperx impact ddr 2400 its blazing fast for £330 built which can hook up to any screen through HDMI @1080 or 4k its a pc killer. One other thing alot of NUC fanboys love to max out this NUC's with 2x16gb ram ITS OVER KILL. if your going to be running havy workloads then maybe but general stuff its great with just 2x4gb I still have one of the fastest bench marks all over the web but its a secret how I can get this mega cheap full thunderbolt 3 marvel to hit nearly 20,000 in geekbench 4 and everyone can do it in windows it means this 330 quid marvel can beat an unlocked intel K seres is just amazing and all the new NUCs all have the lower eDRAM 64MB onboard die, I am not even going to tell you what the i7 version can do because its insane the only slight problem is extra temps so I think the i5 is the perfect cheap daily driver and a granny can put this together, its simply loads of youtube vids on doing the OS but linux is free and I have had one hit 21,500 on the i7 version on geekbench 3 it never registered I think they thought it was just fakenews I am selling my 1030 G4 it was £1500 and I can get 4 of these NUCs with money to spare. One final tip try and buy the H or High version its got a sata 3 caddy spare but if you dont need it it serves 2 great purposes 1/ you can add a fan as there are 2 spare usb headers inside the motherboard or 2 if its left empty it produces extra air to keep the NUC cool, not dont say no-one ever tells you nothing on here! My open up my tech channel again. haha.

Step 3: wait for unsuspecting people to click on the links and buy. Have a good laugh while enjoying a well-deserved cocktail.
