From my experience if i went just based on power potential, disregarding gear dependence and raw stats, Shieldmaiden and Warlock make the game look like an absolute joke. Sorc has very high damage potential but its the worst feeling class to play imo, Cleric similar story. Swordsman and Archer are good but basic, Exterminator is good and fun to play. I would rank the classes like this, based on my experience S - Shieldmaiden, Warlock A - Archer, Exterminator B - Swordsman C - Sorc, Cleric Maybe i missed something with Sorc and Cleric but i tried them fully geared, playing into their strenghts and they felt worse than classes above them.
Yeah. To be fair the only thing I hate about Sorc is her early game and aiming her basic attack early. I really like crit builds so she's great with that. I'll try a new Warlock run and see if I can make him just break the game like you. Nice tier list!
@@BhazensGaming Yea its mainly the basic attack on the Sorc that ruins her for me, if they adjusted the hit box on it i would agree with the S ranking. And as you said, Warlock is very gear dependent, the gloves are almost mandatory and having skeleton + imp rings helps a lot. But once you get him going enemies struggle to even get on screen, which i have not experienced with any other class.
As an update, i tried to play a bit more with Sorc and Cleric, after trying couple builds i would move up Cleric to B/B+. But i still stand by Sorc being the worst class in the game. Fully geared and leveled i killed almost 10k less monsters than what im able to do on other classes, i managed to finish the run but it took way more effort than other classes, they need to change the main attack.
I agree warlock is actually the best class with the correct gear/build. I reached level 101, the key is to power up his main attack (spirits) so that he's summoning many at once, they have long range and they last a long time(duration), strength of course, and piercing isn't bad. At level 60ish if you correctly build him you don't have to do anything, just stand still. Every class seems pretty good, my Cleric? reached level 98, but her main attack just doesn't have enough reach (electric attack). Haven't put much time into shield maiden, but I'd probably say exterminator and mage is lower tier(the one that doesn't shoot lightning). Warrior is 1 step above. From my experience, classes with the most range are broken. Same thing applies for abilities for the most part
The warlock on C is an insult itself, I had him multiply times now SO OP I could sit Idle and let him even finish mini bosses on his own while his first ghost were still floating around and the skelleton and Imp army took care of the rest. Magnificent.
I agree with a lot of what was said here except for the Warlock. You have to build him differently but he is absolutely devastating. Basically, the strategy with him is to go all in on his main weapon. You want both the fire and thunder rings plus the summoner-focused gloves. This will make his main weapon burn and electrify. It also provides access to the fire and electricity traits for serious bonus damage. Then you want to use memory potions and reverberating potions to double dip on any major upgrades to the number of summons, number of projectiles, speed, and damage on his main weapon. Don't bother with crits unless you get to such a high level that you have run out of other offensive traits to take. You can turn his main weapon into a literal tsunami of self-guided infinitely piercing burning and electrocuting projectiles that swarm so far off-screen that they sometimes double back around again. You'll know when you've done it right when he fires two or three ghosts simultaneously with machinegun-like speed. You can have literally dozens of ghosts on the screen at once and they absolutely melt bosses.
I don't think crit rate even matters on exterminator. Burn damage doesn't crit, and burn damage is where all of your damage on exterminator will come from. Just stack burn chance, and anything else to help apply it faster or over a larger area. Then go grab coffee or something while everything dies around you.
In my experience the Swordsman is higher than this. Hated him at first, but my best runs have been with him. I probably am just building wrong with other heroes though, and that's not even really possible with swordsman, since he is the most balanced hero.
And it's one of the best if you get all his quests done. Demonic pact and blessings will combine so well that imo it's easier playing warlock than archer (also survivability of warlock is much higher especially on agony)

i just went with cleric, this mf clears waves for waves in no time.

Update due to the new Patch? Many changes…:(
I love warlock…😢
Me too, warlock is the only class I can clear a game with no problem.
Yeah, for some reason I am not having good results with Sorceress but I can make wonders with Warlock, he is amazing 🙂

How is everyone rating the Sorceress so high, Its the worst class in my opinion.
The cleric is bettee than the sorc in every aspects...
