    I really enjoyed this video. The stories behind each guitar were cool too.

    The story behind the Joi Guitars acoustic is really cool. Thanks, Baxter for showcasing these guitars for all of us. Who knows, one of these crazy ideas might be the Fender Esquire/Broadcaster of the next generation!

      Yeah, I know of Joi but didnt know that about Jimi. I love that quilted mahogany, as well. Looks to be of similar quality to wood from The Tree. I know Joi has used that mahogany in the past, so it wouldn't surprise me if they used it to compliment wood from Jimi's home.

    20:50 begins the story behind one of Baxster’s ~magical moments of music~ (the sound is sooooo very beautiful, but to be able to even touch it at all…..)🥲👍

    Outstanding video. I really enjoyed the playing, discussion, and the guitars. Take a page from Andertons. Do some shootouts, have some fun. Subscribers will flock. Not sure why a few comments were negative about your guest. He was articulate and knowledgeable.

    I appreciate the channel opening up the rise into the uniqueness of these guitars out there .as well the backstory on there pretty
    cool, opinions are like butt holes everybody’s got one I feel like these guitars would be for the guys who have everything they want, and can afford something different and unique. What I like to see is any boutique or custom amps?

    Watching Brandon Acker playing old instruments from hundreds of years ago, the fan frets back them were gut frets and they would be move and positioned the gut fret to get their scale.

    Beautiful guitars, thanks for showing these! As much as I love my Gibsons and Fenders, ive been looking out to the boutique builders lately. Picked up a Frank Bros Ardcade which I love, and a KZ Works One Air on the way from Japan. Id love to check out Fano and Kauer as well.

    How about trying out a Hanson Fire as P90, a Cigno , or a Gatto. Good prices but don't see them around

    All beautiful instruments….also if carbon can’t move then wouldn’t trying to adjust the rod potentially damage the neck? Carbon can and will move under certain circumstances that aren’t that out of the ordinary….

    You can see Baxter getting a little put off by this guy's arrogance...... ha ha Hendrix didn't need a "fan fret" guitar , or noiseless pickups for that matter, and neither do I............

    Really annoys me when supposed ‘experts’ think that certain guitars are meant for certain styles of music. You can play any style on any electric guitar, period. If you think a Les Paul is for Rock, you’ve never heard Les Paul himself playing jazz on one of his guitars. Dave Grohl plays rock on hollowbody guitars. Yngwie plays classical on a strat etc

    • @jayko4703
      @jayko4703 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t those people think as rigid as you are making them out to. There are just certain guitars that are generally agreed upon to be better suited for certain genres. I imagine SRV liked playing strats for that reason, or how certain metal guitarists prefer active guitars. It’s not universal law, just a loose baseline for conversations and comparisons between guitars.

    Fanned Fret is actually a trademarked term created by the inventor of multiscale guitars Ralph Novak who held the patent for 20 years. That's why you're seeing multiscale guitars made only in the last 15 years or so by other companies after his patent expired. So the only guitars that are "fanned fret" guitars are those that have been deemed worthy of being called so, and licensed by nobody other than Ralph Novak. You better make damn sure its licensed if you're calling it a fanned fret!
